The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and felt lively. The drinks were excellent. The food was tasty, but not gourmet. If you are looking for a nice evening out to enjoy with friends, then this is the place. They also had a very nice selection of desserts, which is kind of rare these days. The waitstaff were excellent and very attentive. I would eat there again.

I went on a Thursday night. I ordered the blacken redfish with mashed potatoes, and my husband ordered the grilled shrimp poboy. Our food didn't have any seasoning. My husband sent his order back. The drinks were not good at all either. My waiter was nice and very polite.

My mom & I were in New Orleans visiting family, and I found this restaurant while looking for places to eat while in town. We ate here our first night in town, and it was one of the best picks. Food was good, and Bobby was our server, and he was the absolute BEST!! Will definitely come again the next time I'm in the area

Had lunch with a friend on March 24th. They ordered the red beans and I ordered the shrimp po' boy with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. Two spoonfuls into the beans, my friend found a hair in her food. We reported it to the server who told the bar manager. He came over, apologized and took the dish away. My friend didn't order another dish. I finished my sandwich and as I got toward the bottom of my cup of gumbo, I found a hair in my food. Told the server, who appeared to tell the bar manager. After about a 5 minute wait, the kitchen manager came out. Showed him the hair in my food. He insisted no one in the kitchen had long hair. After a brief conversation, he left. The server came back with a bill for the soda I ordered. No apology from management. They did remove both meals, after insinuating we may be at fault. No contrition, no offer of a future discounted meal for the inconvenience. Nothing to earn my future business. Nothing to make a positive spin for this review. Next time I'm visiting, I know where I won't eat.

The server s were very friendly!!! Get place to grab a quick bite and nice drink for a reasonable price.

Everything went well until they turned on those big Fans up above our table and when our food came out it instantly got cold other then that everything was great would definitely recommend

Noodles were hard, server didn't know much about the menu, and food was over priced for the taste

Service was terrible. Waited an hour for food. Then had to ask for additional items that weren't served to us.

The food was good; don't get me wrong. However, the waitress, Shavontay, was awful! She never asked my husband how his burger should be cooked, never gave us drink refills. She dropped food on my lap and never said she was sorry. Didn't really speak at all. Never said, " Have a nice day", "Thanks for coming", anything. She truly was unfriendly.

Everything was awesome! From wait time being swift, to service being A1, and food being absolutely amazing!

The food was amazing! The servers were friendly and we got fast service. Definitely will visit again.

I’m going to come back and edit my comment once I remember what my waiter’s name was. She was GREAT. My food was good and the bartender did her thing on the margaritas! I’m specifically leaving this review for the GENERAL MANAGER who needs to learn what southern hospitality really is.

The first thing he did wrong was approach my table and gave me a card to leave a review but did not even introduce himself. Literally walked up, left the card on the table, asked us to leave a review and walked off. You need to introduce yourself and make yourself personable. I should not have had to call you back to the table just to figure out who you were. First impression is everything right? Don’t ask me to leave a review for you when I don’t even know who you are.

Another thing I noticed about him was that he doesn’t treat his employees well based off of the interactions both me and by partner witnessed while we were there. When the employees are happy you can rest assure the customers will be too. If the head isn’t right nothing that follows is. You can have structure and order without being supercilious. Don’t be one of those ppl who abuse positions of power. It’s not that deep. Relax.

Last but not least, I will be back. I hope you remember me. As a general manager AND a black man, this isn’t something I should even have to leave a review and tell you. Work on your people skills and treat your employees better.

Nonetheless, I’d recommend anyone in Metairie area to patron this restaurant based on how the waiter treated me. She was attentive, kind, knowledgeable about the menu and HONEST. I hope to get her again when I come back!
