Boulevard American Bistro

Awful!! Loaded baked potato hard, old, & wrinkled on the outside. How can you get this wrong? He talks too much. My bill $60 and a waste. Had to send the ribs back because they were overcooked. So many restaurants can bake potatoes right. #Disappointed

The Veterans location is officially cooked! I’ve been there since Houston’s and the service & atmosphere now is a 180 difference. The hostess were amazing as always but the restaurant smelled like dirty mop water until the smell settled in 🤮. Then the same rude bartender was there again but I was on a date so I dealt with him. This man was rushing us the entire time, made the worse French 75, then wine I opted for wine of his choice he said “I’ll be sure not to pick the most expensive one” just weird & crass as last time. Yall im a New Orleans native & worked for the FQ location because I loved this brand so much so I know the standards. I see why the manager went to the Magazine location. The service there is much better & cleaner facilities

Dawn was a great server & led our party of 9 seamlessly through the bumps for a few kitchen & bartending errors of our orders. She was sweet, personable, & treated us great through the long dinner.

I order the Hawaiian Steak it wasn't cooked the way I order it, I have food allergies so I asked my waiter are the steak cooked on the same grill that the shellfish is cooked on and he said yes, but we can sere it in a pan and it can be cooked they way you want it, so I ask for my steak to be cooke medium well, but of course it was welled done, and the waiter was very sarcastic, about taking it back to have it cook the way I wanted it. So the manager Christian stepped right in and made it right, she was very nice, excellent customer servic, she did everything right, to make the customer feel they are taking care of, and you don't mine coming back to dine at Boulevard. Christian is an excellent manager who goes out her way to please the customer.

I waited over 30 freaking mins for a baked potato, talked to the 12 year old manager, who was worthless with the matter. Then he had the nerve to ask me to just wait 30 more seconds..absolutely nott!! He said to me ..-well , we at least taken care of the glass of wine that i had..when in actuality a man at the bar paid for the glass of wine. How much did u spend per person? Zero..because i never got my baked potato Other than this...it's a nice place..lol...not!!

I usually dont order chicken fingers when im out of town... But Baaaby, these were hands down one of the best i have had to date!!!! We also had the salad, which was wonderrreeful!

Simply put, Jessica is an awesome server, person, etc. She's extremely attentive and very polite. Tonight, October 8, 2024, is my mother's birthday, and I decided to bring both my parents here, and they literally do NOT want to leave! This is all of our first time visiting, I am a resident of Metairie, and my parents live in Baton Rouge. Jessica, you are the true definition of excellence. Thank you for making all of our evenings so pleasant and pleasurable! You're definitely an asset to this company!! I give this experience 20 stars! Thank you! ☺️

Food was excellent! We go to Boulevards (either location) once every few months so here are our recommendations..
Apps: Smoked Salmon and Boulevard Oysters
Entrees: Hawaiian Ribeye with loaded baked potato. There is a WONDERFUL duck dish on their seasonal Fall menu we tried on our recent visit. We do enjoy our duck well done.

Service is slow at this location, unfortunately.

Service was a tad slow. We were definitely not hurried. Chili and chips, while tasty , the chips were from the bottom of the bag. Salmon is awesome.

Came to enjoy lunch with my mom & sister and was pleasantly surprised with a great seared tuna salad and phenomenal spinach dip. One of my favorite healthy fresh meals I've had! Service here was exceptional and a great spot to dine in. Will definitely be back!!
