Great place for watching the game, getting dinner, or meeting up with friends.

I am a traveler who visits the area regularly. I much prefer smaller local places to eat rather than the tourist places in the French Quarter (been there, done that). The Caddy Shack has a bar food menu, but it's REALLY good. A friend of mine got the toasted sesame ahi salad. I had the chipotle chicken wrap. I came with a coworker on a weekend for lunch. It was loud enough that we could complain about work and life in a regular tone of voice and no one noticed. The lighting is very dim, so it can be difficult to read the menu. The steak quesadilla was very good. Everything was all right.
