This used to be my favorite restaurant but the quality of food has gone down tremendously. I had a really bad experience with my last visit when I ordered friend rice that seemed to have rotten broccoli in it. I won’t be returning.

The pad thai was not all that great. I paid close to $45 on my credit card for fried calamari, combo pad thai and a thai tea. The staff seemed friendly as I picked up my order. I am not diabetic but for some reason I crashed out after eating this meal. Today was the first and last time I will go there.

Ordered 2 entrees to go over the phone on a SLOW Tuesday afternoon. Said it would take 20 minutes, I show up 30/40 mins later. They tell me it’s not ready, no big deal. Then they say “they were busy and forgot to make the ticket.” As they say this I’m looking at half the tables empty. Waited almost an hour for my food. I would not have complained but they treated me like I was the problem and they cashier offered zero to rectify the situation and charged me full price. Used to like this place.
The food here is pretty good. Fair pricing. Very nice people. However I do not believe the restaurant has ever been cleaned. Ever or Ever. Floors were so sticky through out the entire restaurant, restrooms quiet literally have never seen toilet cleaner or been mopped. I just hope the kitchen is better maintained.

Had lunch at Cafe Equator Thai Cuisine in Metairie — and it was a great choice!
Tried the Thai Fried Rice and Pad Thai — both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, the service was friendly and quick, and the pricing was surprisingly affordable — great value for the quality and portion size.
If you're in the area and craving some delicious Thai food, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered the Red Curry Shrimp from Café Equator Thai Cuisine, and honestly… I got that uneasy feeling, like something just wasn’t right with my food. You know that gut instinct that makes you pause? That was the vibe. It looked fine, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat it — it's still sitting untouched in my fridge. Disappointed, especially because I was really looking forward to it.
