I asked for carne asada , meat was tough , strawberry margarita was water colored pink, my husband’s shrimp cocktail was nasty too. Never again to this place . I told the waiter about it and her answer was “ I don’t cook the food”

we have passed by this restaurant many times but had never tried it so decided to stop by and try it.
it was taco tuesday so decided to try the soft taco with cilantro and onions and added beans as well as the taco salad with chicken.
the taco salad had lots and lots of chicken which was good but had minimal flavor. the tacos were good for the price / small and had decent flavors. complimentary chips and salsa were given which tasted fresh

We go frequently. I love the Felipito !!! It's amazing tender skirt steak with a cheese sauce and onions mushrooms and potatoes
Absolutely love the bean dip also the queso is killer also. I highly recommend and haven't had a bad item yet after weekly visits and service is always polite but attentive without being intrusive. The drinks are STRONG be prepared if you're ordering
We love our visits to Carreta’s Grill in Metairie. Everyone there treats you like family! The food is timely, well priced, and tastes great!! Highly recommend!!
The awful manager, adalberto, told us all of a suddenly they don’t mix drinks anymore like we have always had in the past! Never checked on us. We will never be back! We were faithful customers. The owner should check in with his employees cause they all suck. Meanwhile, we were checked on, he is sitting at the table enjoying his meal. -1/10. He sent another person to check on because he was busy eating!

I highly recommend this place. We were lost and we entered to make a pause to find our way and it happened to be the one of the 3 or 4 best meals I had in Louisiana. Food is fresh , tasty and home made. Really delicious and unforgettable in addition to the good service, quiet atmosphere and last but not least reasonnable prices. Thanks a lot.
