First time here and tried a bunch of different dishes. Really loved the mumbo gumbo, boudin balls, and grilled veggies!Putting a dollar on the wall is a fun tradition. Will definitely return!

Let me start by saying the guy who greeted me was extremely rude. He was rude to both me & the bar tender. Very pushy & bossy. He gave me Karen vibes lol. The food: I ordered the Crawfish Etoufee with a side of potato salad. Let me start by saying it does have more of a tomato base , so if that's not your thing, this is not for you. I, on the other hand, don't mind a tomato based etoufee. It was good. The potato salad, on the other hand, I was not a fan of. It's hard to really explain it, but it was on the drier side and needed some seasonings, more mayo, idk something though. The crab cakes & boudin balls were ok. My mom loved them so much. She said they're a 10/10. I had them the next day (re-heated) and I wasn't too excited about them. They have an aftertaste. I can't really explain it, but they're just not for me. I still recommend them, as I didn't try them fresh. Lastly, my favorite part! The BREAD PUDDING!! This was the most amazing bread pudding that I've had in a long time. I travel all over & try bread puddings. This 100% was the best. My only complaint is... the slice just wasn't big enough Also, the guy that was bar tending, made the best sweet & sour I've ever had. The most perfect balance of alcohol & mix.

My only disapointment is that I can only give 5 stars. For several years I've brought my out of town guests to Chef Ron's and have always been delighted. Recently I was put in charge of catering for a work event. We enjoyed Gumbo, Pastalaya and what some locals called the best Bread Pudding they've ever had. The price was right and the food was a delight. Can't wait for my next visit.

Food was great. First time having gumbo and really enjoyed it. Also, their shrimp quesidilla was so good.Our server was not it tho. Had to asked twice for a sweet tea, took forever to get us some water, and did not give me what I asked for. Didn't get amazing vibes from him overall. Perhaps it wasn't a good day for him tho.Finally, when we got our check, there was like a $2 processing fee... what's that about.Great food tho

I loved the experience I had here. My bill was reasonable, service was fast, and the food was astounding. My friend and I went with the mission of trying as much as we could - we've been living to eat down here and it's our last day. I had etouffe for the first time and I wasn't disappointed! The portion was manageable and I even had some left to take home. The seafood gumbo was well seasoned and my only note would be I wish it had a little more spice! Everything else was perfect. We tried a multitude of items and the bill never broke $100. Our waiter was excellent, our food was prompt AND delicious- we even got to leave a piece of us in the restaurant! Bring in a dollar bill to add a piece of yourself to this restaurant! We'll be back for sure!

Burger was one of the worst burgers I have had in a restaurant. The taste and texture were awful. The shrimp batter they use must be the same as their fried chicken as it's way too much breading. Jambalaya recipe calls for too much tomato paste. Red Beans were not great either. Nothing about this place wowed me enough to come back

AMAZING!!!We are from out of state and looked them up on Google which I'm so glad we did!The service was amazing and all the people were really nice.For our appetizer we ordered boudin balls then for our entrees ordered jambalaya, chicken with fries, mumbo gumbo then spaghetti and meatballs.My daughter loves spaghetti and meatballs but she said they have the best in the world now! She already said if we ever come back to Louisiana we will be stopping by again!
