I messed up. Ordered the red beans and rice, not realizing it came with two pieces of chicken. So I also ordered a chicken sandwich. Guess I will having that for dinner. $10.99 for red beans & rice, two pieces of chicken, cornbread and potato salad.

Clay’s Café is an absolute hidden gem in Metairie! Everything is made fresh to order, and the food is consistently phenomenal. The fried ribs are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. All of their sides: sweet yams, the mac & cheese, potato salad, and cornbread are perfection. You can tell every dish is made with care.
The staff is incredibly welcoming. They treat every guest like family. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. The atmosphere is laid-back and cozy, perfect for a casual lunch during the week.

I called to place order July 3 ,24 when I came to pick up my order the cashier grilled me about the number I provided even when I apologize about the misunderstanding regarding the number she kept pressing the issue in front of other customers she has been to I totally disrespect every time I came to that restaurant bad customer service prices are not cheap especially when I'm buying two to three four plates there are only good to people that they know there are only good to people they know not outsiders I will also filled it with the BBB she disrespected on more than one occasion
