So disappointed. Long time customer, in from out of town. Brought a friend after bragging about po-boys. Shrimp tasted like they were from frozen batch. Covered in too much corn meal. Bread not hot. Little mayo. Just very bad. Sad. Have had many great meals her in the past. Someone took their eyes off the ball. Service staff was fine.

Been over 15 years since I’ve ordered food from Come Back Inn and realized why I stopped coming here. The grilled chicken sandwich had no flavor and very unappealing, another item we ordered was in incorrect, and the food is very expensive. What a waste!

You order the food at the counter, and they call you to pick it up when it's ready. The food is great. They do a lot of takeout orders so although it looks super crowded at the counter, a lot of that is people picking up their phoned in orders. Our group had the appetizers, cheese, fries and onion rings. The onion rings were superb.

Awesome go-to place for reasonably priced good food. It's not a white tablecloth kind of place, but it's always clean inside, and counter ladies are pleasant and polite when taking orders. Highly recommend. Never had a bad meal here.

The first dish that I wanted was a country fried steak with gravy. When I asked what kind of gravy they use she said brown gravy. That is not what a country Fried steak is made with. So I got a dish that was called breaded pork chop with macaroni and cheese. I took one bite of the macaroni and cheese and spit it out. It was awful. Tasted like it was not cooked enough. Took one bite out of the pork chop and it was a bone. I almost broke my tooth. So I took it back to the counter and got my money back.

Come back Inn is the place for po-boys just like parkway tavern. Located on West esplanade 3 blocks north from David Dr.This should be your new to go place for po-boys, red beans and rice, meat balls and spaghetti and your New Orleans favorite food. Oh and don't forget there muffalettas.
