Such a pretty creole creamery location! The pink store walls and huge menus make it colorful. It was really empty when we went though with just two workers and upbeat background music. There's a few outlets up on the walls by seating area. Free parking lot around the store because it's in a plaza. There's 5 tables with a bunch of colorful chairs around.
Got the Cracker Jack affogato sundae. It wasn't my style though, strong caramel flavors with some crunch from the caramel popcorn and peanuts. The espresso and ice cream was refreshing together though (good combo). I think I'd rather try the smores but that's prob bc I'm a more chocolate and crunch person.

The Creole Creamery on Metairie Road is right behind Fat Boys Pizza. This location is FAR easier to get into and MUCH less crowded than the original on Prytania Street in New Orleans. The ambiance here is very similar to the original but they seem to have a lot more of a selection available and it is easier to taste different flavors without waiting in a line. So overall this is pretty much the same experience as they original but far less congested, crowded, packed etc. along with usually no waiting in a line. I do know quite a few people go to eat at Fat Boys Pizza then eat here for dessert.

Amazing ice cream! However, many of the customers are jerks. I've witnessed people being so rude to employees nearly every time I have been here. All of the workers are so sweet and patient.

They went out of their way to help me navigate my options — even to the point of getting a tub out of the freezer in the back since it wasn’t on the current menu board.
Dietary restrictions: They had a list of allergy friendly options and even went to get my favorite flavor since they had it on standby.

I love creole creamery and frequent there often. I will no longer go to this location until they ask their employee to cut her nails. They are about 4 inches long and that is very unsanitary. She served me and her long finger nails were all over my cone. I took the ice cream, paid, walked outside and threw it away. Long finger nails should not be allowed in any establishment dealing with food.
Usually love this place. Tonight's experience might have lost them a customer. Got the creole strawberry with chefs perfect chocolate and first off the chefs perfect chocolate was coffee flavored. Then the cake was just trash. It tasted freezer burnt, it was dry and crumbly. The entire experience was awful.
