Positives: cheap, coffee was hot.
Negatives: 50 minute wait, with no mention that it would take that long. No order to which tables food comes out first. Tables that sat after us got food ahead of us. One man kitchen.

I am completely satisfied with the food and staff.

Three adults everything was excellent pancakes, eggs bacon, grits my son got an omelette, Coffee was great. First time there I’ll be going back.

Fantastic food and sweet people. Anytime I go in there for breakfast, I always end up having meaningful conversations with strangers. Highly recommend.

Solid breakfast and lunch/sandwich spot. Nothing crazy, but solid. However, the staff makes you feel like family.

What a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was even better! Michelle, the owner, and Melva our server went above and beyond! My omelet was cooked to perfection and my food allergies were addressed with such consideration, and if you have to deal with allergies you understand how much that means. Thank you Michelle and Melva for making my first experience in Louisiana and New Orleans such a memorable and wonderful time. Five Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Definitely recommend! 💕

Local neighborhood spot that serves breakfast, lunch and then has and an evening bar. Two of us had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, and son had the Big Breakfast with all the fixings and he finished every bite.

Great breakfast experience! The service was top tier. The waiting team was super kind and charismatic. Food was really great! Highly recommend! As a first timer here, I could tell patrons are loyal and devoted for such a great product and service like Empty Nest!

The service and the food are good. But we will not go back there. We felt like we were in High school and being bullied . We were harassed by a group of geriatric radical political people . We sat there quietly and said nothing but all of there right wing harassment was aimed at us. It was ridiculous .

Lovely little cafe tucked away in the ecole neighborhood. Owner is kin to the former owner of corner cafe. Lovely little dishes and great atmosphere. The staff here treat you like family!
