Fuji sushi is the best sushi restaurant I have ever found. The owner is extremely friendly, and when I’m in town he remembers me. Highly recommend this place!

Sushi and Hibachi was good. The clear soup had too strong of a fish smell and taste. Other than that all was well!

My favorite places for sashimi and sushi. I don't normally order off the menu excpet their special rolls. Im here for the fresh sashimi and they have a good selection to choose from. Great service and friendly staff. Best price in town!

Went with a friend who frequents this restaurant often. He walks in and the guy knows what he likes. It was only my second time there so I was at their mercy with the menu. Got a rock n roll with smoked salmon on top. Very good. The sake was awesome. We tried 4 different kinds. My fave was the dessert sake they serve with the mochi ice cream. Go here and tell them what you like and they will find the perfect dishes for you. You won’t be disappointed.

Went here on 7/14/24. The food was delicious. I had the boss roll and the shrimp roll both great. The fried rice was the best rice I've ever personally. Great little quiet place. My wife doesn't really eat sushi and even she enjoyed it

Ken and Lisa make this place. They are very friendly and remember their customers. They treat us like family. The food is of excellent quality and comes quickly from their expert chefs. I cannot recommend this place enough. You won't find another sushi place like it.

Very hidden gem in metairie! I have seen them receiving fresh seafood and ingredients multiple times while eating here. Everything is always very good and well prepared. The portions are hearty and great for the price. They frequently have specials like Uni, A5 Japanese Wagyu, Otoro, and what ever else is in season. The services is always quick and the chefs crank out sushi at a blistering pace. Please try out Fuji Sushi if you haven't and tip your chef!

I came her with a group of friends and experienced how badly the waitress and another man that works here treated another table. I was in shock! It was a table of two young women. These women were asked how the food tasted. They quietly and respectfully told the man that they did not like their sushi rolls because they were falling apart and they felt warm. I was able to hear the women because the restaurant is tiny. The guy proceeded to yell at the two women and threaten to call the cops. At no moment did these women say they were not paying. I witnessed these women only try one piece of their sushi rolls. They did not gobble up a whole roll and then try to claim it was so bad to get out of paying. They kept saying they would pay but were just honestly answering the question of “How do you like the food?” The waitress then rudely started telling them “I didn’t force you to order this!”, “you don’t like because you are not used to this food.!” “ You are not used to eating at restaurants like this!”, “you pay or we call cops!” This is a small restaurant and the employees voices were on blast. The women were quietly talking. The women paid their tab and continued to eat an order of edamame but the waitress told them to get out and if they wanted to eat they could continue eating outside. I am still in shock that I witnessed this. I am actually in high school and expect more from an adult. These employees should know how to treat their customers better. This experience will forever stay with me. It is a true example of how not to treat a customer or a human being in general. It will be a teachable moment for my future kids to learn how to be kind to others.
