The food is beyond good...the minute I took a bite of their debris it made me think of my Mawmaw's food. Seriously good. The owner is so friendly and the staff is great. I tried to keep this place as my secret, but it's just too good. Check out their specials as well!!

Better than most. That’s the best way I can define this establishment. I ordered the roast beef poboy and one meatball. The opening sentence defines them both. I’m a cook myself for many years and a food critic. So when I say something is better than most, take to the bank. It’s a rarity to find really good food at restaurants lately. The latter could be because high food prices have caused places to cut back and use cheaper products. Whatever the case, hold on when you find a good place with good food- better than most.

We had the Red Beans and rice with sausage. We took 4 bites of our food and we felt the food was sub-par. The potato salad was delicious. I will come again and try their other food items seeing the menu changes daily.
We have been a patron of Hobnobbers for a very long time...Even the restaurant yall had past the airport.We don't know if yall were bought out but the food my wife got tonight was beyond the norm that we are use to. The paneed chicken was tough.And I mean tough

The best mom and pop place in Metairie Louisiana. The crab corn bisque is like none other and I've tried my share. The place is very clean from the dining area into the kitchen. There's a window into the kitchen where you can watch your food be prepared with gloves and hair nets on. The staff is professional but at the same time made me feel like I was dining with family. The pricing of course went up here recently but what hasn't. Even with the increase it was still very affordable and cost less than other places in the same area. What made this restaurant stand out, to me, the most was the smiling waitress that was so friendly and observant of our needs. If you're in the Metarie LA area, check out Hobnobbers Cafe. Ask for Bobbie. I guarantee she will greet you with a smile, be professional and courteous and in turn have you leaving with a full belly and a smile of your own.
