The co-workers I share it with rave about how tasty the King Cake is. And they are always amazed how good it is given that it was shipped all the way from Louisiana to Johnstown, PA! I order King Cakes for our office and have purchased from King King Cakes for several years. Never a disappointment as far as taste and delivery. Excellent. HOWEVER, I ordered two cakes last year, and neither one had a baby in it. THIS YEAR was the same! No BABY!!! Are they saving money by not putting the babies in the cakes? I don't know. I wrote about it last year, and this year is a 4-star rating on a 5-star product because of NO BABIES, 3 out of 3! What gives????

My fedex box arrived smashed and upside down. The cake is completely destroyed and unservable. On top of that fedex lost the cake for a day. A waste of money. I’m hoping for my claim to be processed and get a refund. There was no protective packaging just the cake box in the shipping box. I am so sad, this was going to be a big treat for my family and now all they are getting are my tears.

AWFUL customer service- there are other options, avoid dealing with King King Cakes.I ordered two cakes two weeks ago, I called the day they were due for tracking/shipping data. After several calls my status went from "because you chose the $30+ FEDEX ground option you might not get your cakes before Friday or Saturday" to "they did not go out, we can get them too you at the end of next week". I asked for them to be overnighted and was told there was no way the "manager" would approve shipping anything before the end of next week.Pick a different business for your King Cakes.

I ordered 2 king cakes for the company I work for that is out of state. I paid for 2 day shipping and when they did not arrive I contacted the company and learned that FdEx had delays because of understaffing and no promise of when they would be delivered. Amber at King King Cakes assisted me and sent out another order using a different shipping method. The king cakes were finally received and Amber could not have been more helpful and professional. She went over and beyond my expectations and everyone raved about how delicious they were.

I love this cake! We all love this cake! It’s always moist and delicious, even after freezing for a month or two. And the decorating experience is fun to do with the kids (or grandchildren). Each cake comes with the frosting and sprinkles to decorate, while the brochure enclosed explains the history and traditions of New Orleans (educational). I am not from New Orleans, nor have I ever been to Mardi Gras…. Yet this cake makes me feel like I have experienced a real taste of it. And finding the “baby” in the cake is always a fun game for the family! Who’s gonna be the chosen one?Our favorites are the traditional or cream cheese. The cake is a generous serving, and makes a great addition to your morning coffee or after-dinner dessert. Order one today and bring your own New Orleans experience to your hometown, no matter where you are located!
