For a Tex Mex place, I was blown away by the burger and fries. You can't go wrong with it. And you're missing out if you don't get one. The juicy burger with queso cheese, and a little guacamole far exceeds any expectations you have. Seasoned well and served with some slim cut fries. Trust me.

So, first of - the food was a solid 4. And I plan to go back. So we walked in and we were struck by how large this place is. Very new, very airy, and some outdoor seating. We were greeted and at our request, sat in the outdoor area. This was on a great spring Saturday night, 7:30 or 8, and the outdoor area was loud and alive with kids having a blast. The outdoor area has a big section of turf, and it's completely fenced in, so it really is a great place for families to bring kids and let them run. I used the word loud, and it was, but we felt it was great - good, happy energy. Which we took in for quite a while......wondering if anyone would ever come to our table. I watched two servers helping tables, but nobody ever came to our table, even as other tables cleared. Easily...15-20 minutes. I thought about calling them :-) Instead, when I was about to go to hostess stand, we decided to eat at the bar instead. Immediately, two people came to us. Much better. Great beer selection and overall, a great selection of everything, by the way. The food came out in a reasonable time, and I really enjoyed my burrito , and and my GF really liked her taco. My burrito was pretty large came with salsa, sour cream, and guac, and Spanish rice. I ate the 2nd half of it tonight for dinner, and it's still very tasty. Now...the two folks that helped us at the bar were very nice and checked on us as the food arrived. I hate to say anything bad about them but from that point on, they were completely focused on prepping and doing table drinks. The bar was nearly empty, but apparently they expected a busy night because these two really kept moving, but never checked on us again and I couldn't get their attention for a second beer. So, good food, and ... I'll use the word "amateur" service. It struck me as another place that hires a lot of young people to work there and basically lets them run it. There was one manager (apparently) who did see us leave the outdoor area and asked if we were okay. We told her and she was very apologetic, and we said it's fine - the bar is fine with us. And she did check on us again when the food arrived, and apologized again. It's worth saying that the people we interacted with were all very nice. So, as I said at the start - the food was good TexMex, and they have a really nice bar, so we'll be back. And I'll just be a little pushier with the bartenders.

Was so excited to try this place out but was disappointed with the our experience. They def have some kinks to work out. Let's start with the good. Friendly hosts, and steak fajita was great! Usually I think fajitas are too dry but the meat on this was delightful. The negatives though: 1. I wasn't wowed with my chicken enchiladas. The red sauce was a little too smoky and overpowered the taste for the whole dish. 2. Out server. I don't want to call her out by name because she's young and inexperienced. But she could definitely benefit from some extra shadowing/training. I ordered chicken enchiladas and was brought a chicken quesadilla. Told the food runner and he went right back. The server came over to ask me what I ordered like she was hearing it for the first time. She never apologized once. Just "okay" and walked away. We had to specifically ask for refills on our drinks. We were one of 4 tables in the restaurant with three servers, so it wasn't that she was too busy. Just didn't seem like she wanted to be there? Long story short: I'll be back a few months from now once they work out a few things. Great potential here!

This place is breath of fresh air! Lots of parking, spacious seating, gorgeous building, moms!!! There’s a kids play area and they have the best margaritas! I had the best ( I ever had) guac, salsa and chips for app, entree was shrimp tacos ( I fell I love with the pico), with rice and beans all was packed with flavor and on point. The Tres leches bread pudding was a mind twist, but I can appreciate the combination.I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Josh, as he was out checking out all the tables making sure they enjoyed his meals.I’ll be there next Friday to check out the live bands.

Savannah was super friendly and gave us great service. The beef tacos were great and my sister had the steak fajitas. Everything was on point. We stopped at the bar and met Allison and Marissa who were super nice as well. Altogether a 10/10

Since moving here I have been trying to find a true Tex Mex restaurant and Las Cruces did not disappoint. The steak and pork fajitas were delicious and seasoned perfectly. I loved the smoked beans. The service was excellent and all of the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend.
