Lil Kats is my go-to during crawfish season. It's a no frills boiled seafood market that charges fair market prices with a delicious boil. They also offer good stuffed artichokes and some frozen products like Boudin.

I enjoyed them the first time I went, but the next 2 times were not great. 1st time very delicious and flavorful. 2nd time very muddy. 3rd they were mushy and just not okay.

I just left the restaurant 15mins ago,I threw all of the food in the trash. We had crawfish/potatoes/corn/sausage/mushrooms/garlic and all of the food was horrible. The crawfish was dirty and not seasoned & tasted just like water. The potatoes were drier than a baked potato and shriveled up. The corn was dried up like it was partially uncooked,also unflavorable. The sausage was probably the only thing that wasn't disgusting although it was unflavorable,it seems like it was cooked in the microwave for 45 seconds. The mushrooms were shriveled up and tasted like 80% water. The garlic was ok but the overall experience here at Lil Kats was ridiculous. I wouldn't give this food to someone who was homeless,that's why I immediately tossed it in the trash can. 1st time customer who will never come back.

They don't purge their crawfish. I bought 20 pounds of dirty crawfish (crayfish), and could not enjoy them fully.

Crabs were cold laying on a sheet pan. No attempt to keep them warm. Shrimp also were not cooked well what so ever and a bit of them were dead. Not seasoned well for either one. Do not recommend this place. Although, the lady behind the register was nice. 50 bucks wasted.

When I walked the ac was dropped all over me as they have a window unit right above the entryway. As I approached the counter, there was a customer being checked out. The cashier took the man’s cash payment and gave him a receipt. When it was my turn to order there was only a few lbs of crawfish left, the cashier scoops up some with the scooper and then proceeds to pick the rest of them out the bucket with his nasty, unwashed hands and put them in the bag. This place is disgusting. Will never go here again.
