Mmmmm. Been visiting Lil Tokyo causeway for as long as I can remember. Still the best clear soup I can find to this day. Love the roll selection. They offer hibachi rice dishes and a selection of Japanese style dishes that are wonderful to choose from each visit.

My sushi roll came out looking like a damn burrito. Barely any fish in it, just a lot of rice and imitation crab meat.

I relished my drink and mushroom soup, yet my husband's enjoyment of his fried chicken was marred by its lack of freshness. He mentioned that it seemed like the chicken had been reheated multiple times. Despite this, I believe that trying another dish from this place might yield better results. Moving on to the ambiance, I found the interior spacious but somewhat sticky, and the menu design was not user-friendly with its abundance of options and odd pictures. On the bright side, the service provided by the waiter was commendable. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide, but I would recommend giving it a try at least once.

I love the sushi here, but whenever I order over the phone they almost always tell me the wrong amount of time to wait.

Tried this place because I was staying in the hotel across the street for a work trip. Being close to the coast, I figured sashimi would be a good bet. I got the sashimi sampler lunch platter chefs choice. The fish was fresh and just what I expected. The cuts were very generous and nothing disappointed. The soup and salad they brought before the main course were good as well.
