Usually in NOLA, or in this case Metry, we don't eat Mexican due to living in Houston where we eat it far too ofter but this case, Los Jefe's was near a clients location so we went in. Lucky for us we did as the food was amazing. I had 4 tacos de carne asada con pico de gallo y guacamole. PERFECT. Not a shred of fat on the beaf and they use fresh avocados. My wife had Tostadas con pollo asada and again... Perfect. Aftet getting our bellies full, MARIO, our server suggested flan and after telling us it was home made, convinced us to try it. I gotta tell you, Flan is usually hit or miss. In this case, it was a home run. PERFECT FLAN. How often will anyone say that? This place is a great place to eat and as a side note, the Modelo was fria y fresca.. I do suggest you come in and check this place out. We loved it.

THE WAIT TIME WAS TERRIBLY LONG!!! The service was trash af! We waited 45 minutes plus for the food itself. The only good deal here is the 4 for 4 tacos. The melted queso was great. The alcohol was also trash. 1/10 recommend. PARKING IS ALSO TERRIBLE. I've seen multiple cars get towed. Be careful!!!

Total b******** Was recommended by a good friend of mine and it was very underwhelming. We had a reservation for 8 and wasn't seated til 9:10, which is ridiculous. The restaurant wasn't even close to full capacity and it still took us about 20 minutes just to get a cup of water. After expressing our concerns to the waitress we got our food 20 minutes later. And the tacos are cold as hell and just to find out that they were closing soon. Just all around bad service and bad quality of food. I doubt I'll be back

Los Jefes was my absolute favorite Taco Tuesday experience! It's the perfect combination of quality Mexican food, strong margaritas and a lit vibe! Not to mention the deals are Me, my boyfriend and sister went around 4:45, taco tuesday hadn't officially started but I could tell something was brewing. A bar was being set up outside the restaurant along with several standing tables so guests could drink while waiting for food. We went inside to get seated and upon request was seated outside. our server was an awesome very personable guy. We all ordered the 4 for 4 tacos with various shells and toppings and all 12 tacos came out exactly how we requested them. The 2 for 1 Margaritas come with a cup and canister so you can pour as you please. The main event started at 6pm when the DJ came out! The music created a lit vibe. There was a birthday boy beside us who got free shots and even gave us shots! Complimentary birthday shots were flowing and everyone was turnt. overall great experience. I'll be back :)

Awesome Mexican food! My wife and I stopped in here after shopping around in Lakeside Mall. Elote is our personal favorite Mexican dish of all time and Los Jefes did not disappoint. Also had a burrito, quesadilla, and queso and all were good! I tried the guava margarita and loved it! Highly recommend this place!

#TacoTuesday! Looking for great deals on tacos and drinks? @losjefesgrill may be the place for you! 2 for 1 Avion margaritas and 4 for $4 tacos (up to two proteins). Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! One rainy day during lunch I went to try out some new tacos. I started with queso, and was given complimentary chips and salsa. I did not care for the chips, but both dips were pretty good. My first order of tacos were the seafood tacos, which were 2 for $5. I ordered one of each, shrimps and redfish. Both were very good and flavorful! I also ordered 2 carnitas and 2 carne asada. Those were actually my least favorite. Both were dry. The carnitas had a nice bit of flavor, add lime juice and a little of the hot salsa and it was good as new. My guava margarita was really nice. The restaurant is a pretty good size but it was just me so I sat at the bar. The bartender Stephanie, was on point. She knew her stuff and was very attentive! Overall 4/5 Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5

The food was pretty decent; one of the workers, Jose’ was very nice. The hostess sat me somewhere and I was cold so he gladly brought me outside to sit. He had a positive attitude even though it was the end of the night when I’m sure everyone was tired and ready to go, I can tell by the other workers. But not him, he was through and through all around great and happy to accommodate me with no problem or making me feel like an inconvenience. But nonetheless, it was great food, extremely fast. I could believe how fast. And the steak tacos were very good. Very neat place.
Food was quite good.Seriously let down by the attitude of the waitress when I tried to explain to her, sorry but I don’t want to call out my credit card pin over the bar, despite not many people around.Her attitude at this point took a massive dive. It is not the clients problem that her card reader is inside the bar and stuck down. Credit card pins started over a decade ago, get with the times and drop that attitude.

This was my first time visiting Los Jefes Grill and it was amazing!!!!! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was on point(Jesse or Jessie was our waitress) and the atmosphere out of this world. Most definitely will be going back.
