Sometimes has the stale smell of sweaty teens, but that's probably due to the families coming after sports balls events. Good pizza. Everything is clean. It is upstairs, but there is an elevator.

We had an awesome waiter named Patrick! Thank you for your service sir! Loved your attitude! Im writing this before the food even arrives because no matter how long the wait might be it will have been worth the wait having such a grea... Oh look the foods here!

Good place. A bit noisy. Menu is hot and miss.Uodate: now they don't use truffle oil on their highly requested mushroom pizza.. booo!Also you may need a co-signer to drink here.. $9-$14 for most wines by the glass.

I enjoy happy hour after work at 2:30pm. Can't beat the prices for lemon drop martinis and half off appetizers. Cool spot to hang out either in side or on the spacious balcony.

Not as good as I remember, and more expensive than I remember. Their small TVs were not working, something my kids were none to pleased about. Overall it was alright.Side note, if you like Guinness, don't order one from here.

Pizza was okay. They say they are gluten free friendly but that was not our experience. My husbands gluten free pizza was cross-contaminated so they made another one which was also contaminated since it made him sick.

The food was great the service on the other hand was very slow Hostess and waitress and cokes seems more interested in entertaining each other than taking care of their customers. I've been to a few franchises so far the one in Houston is the best

Great food and a solid drink selection. Atmosphere is fun, but a little more "Hard Rock cafe" than the laid back Mellow Mushroom I'm used to. Service was a bit slow on my last visit.

Customer service was awesome. They were very nice and helpful. The hummus plus pita was simple, what i expected, pretty good. However, the pizza (gluten free) took 1 hour and 35 minutes to make. And after all of that, the pizza barely had any tomato sauce. The layer of cheese was so thick all you could taste was cheese and crust. And it was a small! Waste of time, usually the pizza here is good. By the way, it was a cheese pizza with no toppings on top.

Food was very good , service was kind of slow but ok , staff was good

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant but I was very disappointed when I finally went. The restaurant itself is nice as far as decor goes. But the energy was lacking. It was quiet and just strange. You'd expect a little more energy in a place that has musiacl instruments and lively art all over the place. Our waitress wasn't very attentive. She disappeared for a long time without checking if we needed anything. She was very stand-offish. I was not happy with her service. Then the food came out and my pizza had no flavor and it was very dry. My daughter enjoyed her calzone but my friend was not impressed as we ordered the same thing. Anyway, my first impression was that this place needs a little more energy and maybe improve some of their food options. Will I go again? Maybe, just to see if the experience is any better.

I always love going to Mellow Mushroom. I am a lover of specialty pizzas, and the atmosphere is great. Normally, I'd give 4 stars unless something remarkable happened. I'm giving 5 stars because of our waitress. She was sweet, attentive, and complimentary. Complimenting parents on their parenting and the behavior of their child is worth the extra star. I only wish I'd have gotten her name. She gave us the idea of bringing playing cards with us to restaurants to play with our kids instead of disappearing into electronics like she said she sees so often. This was after my wife taught our son to make a paper football and "kick" it back and forth across the table while we waited for our food. Good hire, Mellow Mushroom, and as always, great pizza.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for making our surprise party for my husband and mother in law a success. I so wish I could remember names, but our server and bartenders were incredible. They went above and beyond to take care of us and just wanted to write a quick note to show our appreciation. The food was great as well. I'd recommend Mellow mushroom to anyone looking for an affordable and great place to host a party. Thank yall so much for the great service and accommodating on such short notice!

We had a party of 25 people and everyone enjoyed their food. The waiter did a great job of servicing us and they provided access to the tv screen for us to hook up video.
