What happens when your food is delicious but your customer service is trash? You get a 1 star review, no tip and mis out on regulars.
The food was literally 10 out of 10. However 1/5 of my party was forgotten and had to suffice on appetizers.
Also DO NOT ORDER THE FLAVORED TEA. He told us before ordering it was 24 oz. We found out after the drinks arrived, it’s only 8 oz of tea and 12 oz of ice. The cup was 20 oz not 24. We asked for a refill and the manager refused.

My wife and I have been dining at NUDO on Houma Blvd for over 2 years now and always enjoyed the food and service. This all changed during the past two visits, including today, 8-30-2025.
Saturday 8-30-25 about 1:00 pm, we went to NUDO for lunch. The place is rather small and was busy, but there were several open tables. We chose a table and sat down. The young man came and took our order quickly, and brought us our drinks. That was the last interaction we had with him. We ordered a Pork Rice bowl and a Pork Vermicelli bowl, our usual order, which generally arrives in under 10 minutes.
The young man server walked past us numerous times over the next 25 minutes and avoided eye contact . Numerous other people came in, sat down, ordered ate and left but 20+ minutes later we had not been served. I tried to get the servers attention but he always hurried away.
We finally had enough and got up to leave. I told the woman at the cash register about the incident, she was rather surprised, as we dine there a lot and she recognizes us and we always tip very well. I told her we had waited for 25 minutes and not received our food, while several other diners had come and gone after we were seated.
This is the second time in a row this has happened to us by the same server.
We will NOT be returning to NUDO ever again. There are too many other restaurants in the choose from. Your server ignored us and it cost you our business, permanently, and all my acquaintances will hear of this.

I'd give Nudo a 4.5 Food was very flavorful. I got the Bun Bo Hue and my son got the plain Pho. He is very picky and said the pho broth was so good. I'm only knocking off 1/2 points because it was so hot in the building. The service was great. They were busy not only with dine in orders but also togo orders & uber eats orders. I'll definitely be back!

Food was above average. Small quaint interior with nice staff. You do place your order at the counter. Spring rolls were delicious. It was nice to have the spices and sauces available on the table. Pho Portion was very big.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice that’s been recommended and it was no good. Rice really wasn’t flavorful nor were the shrimp they place on top. The dumplings were average. Definitely not worth $26.

Nudo is certainly one of my favorite Vietnamese places in the GNO region. Everything I have eaten has been good and the service has always been just right. It's also very accommodating of my young kids and they love the food.

Friendly staff . Food is fresh and made hot to order. Family operated . The construction on the road makes it hard to see while driving

THIS IS THE BEST PHO I HAVE EVER TRIED IN NEW ORLEANS/METAIRIE. the price for starters is so fair, not $16-$18 starting prices like most places. but it’s beyond that. the pho itself is life changing. the broth is the richest, most flavorful liquid i have ever consumed. every bit of flavor is tasted and appreciated. whoever makes this pho needs to live on forever and become an ethereal immortal being to serve this for all eternity. not to mention i live 20+ mins away the the broth was still so hot! had no issues cooking my meat. really good portion size too and didn’t charge for xtra sauce. will be putting all my friends on this place. 100/10
We stopped at NUDO for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. The pho broth was flavorful, and the fried rice was tasty. I’d definitely recommend the veggie spring rolls. Service was quick, and the staff were kind and courteous. A great spot for Vietnamese food!
