Food is off charts good. Chef's check on you and are always nice. Too many good choices to name but I've ate almost everything in menu and it's always great. Quick dining trip or sit and visit while small tables but exceptional food. Small place with small tables but excellent appetizers and entrees. Try it you'll love it.

Casual and home feeling. Friendly staff and the owner makes the rounds speaking with diners. Have been several times and often something new is being offered. Muffaletta Pizza and King Cake cheesecake were most recent new temptations Feb. 2024.

Found in Metairie, Louisiana, Parish Grill offers a culinary experience that plays on the rich flavors of the region while integrating other culinary angles. Among its standout dishes, the Swamp Sandwich was the winner for me. A delightful fusion of local ingredients, this sandwich features tender alligator sausage, hot sausage (a Nola favorite), grilled onions, spicy vinegar peppers, and jalapeño ranch. Each bite is a tantalizing blend of smoky, savory, and spicy flavors. If I went back tomorrow, I’d order this again. For those craving a different taste of tradition with a twist, the Cochon Pizza is a must-try at Parish Grill. Inspired by the iconic flavors of Louisiana's Cajun cuisine, this pizza boasts a generous topping of slow-roasted cochon de lait, a succulent and flavorful roasted pig. Complemented by vinegar peppers, bell peppers, sautéed onions, and mozzarella cheese, each bite is a true melting pot of flavor.Chas also got a frozen sangria which I took a sip of. We agreed this tasted like a manaschevitz smoothie, haha. I personally would pass on that one. Whether you're a local craving a taste of home blended with creativity or a visitor eager to explore the flavors of the bayou and still get a sense of other cuisines as well, a visit to Parish Grill promises a delicious dining experience.

Delicious little place! So excited to try more soon! The staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely be back to try more of their food. Smaller restaurant but ok for 1-2 larger groups at a time of maybe 8-10 people. Outside seating available. The chef/owner came to check on us and say hi.

What a wonderful addition to the West Esplanade corridor! Have visited at least a dozen times and never left disappointed. The staff makes every guest feel welcome and appreciated. The food is a tour de force! Every dish is artfully constructed and presented in a way that rivals any upscale eatery costing twice as much! Something as simple as hamburger steak on a Thursday warms your soul and reminds you of your mom's best dishes growing up! White beans are scrumptious. The mushroom burger is a personal favorite...and the brioche bun holds up to the meat unlike many places where it falls apart and you need a fork to enjoy it.Strongly recommend Parish! You will NOT leave disappointed!Kid-friendliness: Friendly, not pretentious.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access

I had driven past this spot a few times and I finally scheduled a time to make a visit to try Parish Grill out. Initially I thought this was a huge place but it turns out they are just in the front section of a strip mall. So they do have a nice patio in front and then they have a nice medium sized dining room with tables and chairs. They do have a really interesting selection of items on their menu which seem to offer some options that are a bit different and unique compared to many other spots in the area. I saw they had a kimchi burger and I knew I had to try that as I'm a huge fan of the kimchi burger that Mint Modern Vietnamese Bistro & Bar offers on Freret Street. So I enjoyed the Parish Grill version of the kimchi burger (although I think I still have to give the flavor edge to Mint Modern at least for this visit). The French fries served with the burger here could have used some improvement with some additional seasoning. After looking at the dessert menu I decided I had to order the chocolate mousse cake and I would say that was definitely a fantastic idea as I really enjoyed that dessert and it was much larger than I expected it to be. Overall this spot has a nice selection of items along with some good drink deals.

An absolute hidden gem in Metairie. My friends and I came yesterday and we enjoyed everything. For appetizer we ordered pork skin, boudin balls, and wings. Main course we ordered Cowboy burger, spicy chicken sandwich, and swamp sandwich. For dessert we ordered their beignet fries. The chef even came out to greet us and thanking us for coming. Great food and friendly service are something that's been lacking in the service industry...not here. Come give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Always a great time coming to parish grill! The food is consistently great and everyone that works here is always so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend the beignet fries if you’re looking for something warm and sweet!
