It's like the Subway of poké! The best thing about it is being able to build your own bowl with all of your favorites! Crab-shrimp-tuna? Rice or greens? How about both? Mango, ponzu, soy or sriracha aioli? I'll take it all and hastily inhale it, all the while knowing I'm eating better here than had I made a sandwich with processed meats and stacked on carb heavy bread.

I come here often. Blake is a very nice worker. He has a good attitude, he was working very hard & was consistent and efficient with his work. this young man deserves a raise/promotion. he continues to impress me more each visit.

Excellent food, excellent service, great prices and a nice seating area for relaxed lunches. The music isn't overbearing, either, which I appreciate.

Worst poke bowel ever and the girl at the register had an attitude.

I saw someone else post about food poisoning. I think maybe this place needs to reevaluate the way they are handling their raw food items. I usually love poke, but I did also get sick after getting food from this location!

Pretty sub-par poke overall. Seaweed salad was gross and unlike any I have seen before. The sauces were too heavy and lacked flavor.

Great food, great service! The folks at Poke Loa are friendly and helpful. After having lived in NOLA and moved away, when you come back to visit you look for those comforting reminders. Poke Loa is one of those for me! There menu has changed a little over time, but the basic Poke Bowl items you like are there. Check them out!!

Basic poke bowls. It was filled with more base and toppings of your choice than amount of proteins. Sauces were ok, not as tasty. It can get expensive depending on the addons. Service was friendly though.

Called to place a to go order. A female employee answered the phone with pep but quickly became rude when I asked to place an order verbally. Had to call back to let them know it’d be a while before I picked the bowls up - was rude again. Finally got the bowls and was pretty underwhelmed. Lots of rice, very stingy protein portions, and little sauce. Veggies were very fresh though.Overall, won’t be back. I don’t patronize businesses that don’t make me feel welcome. If I could offer feedback, it’d be to increase prices a little to offer a more hearty serving of the good stuff - people will pay if it’s worth it. Also, fix the attitude - customers have options and it’s cheaper to retain your current ones than advertise to new ones. Even a “no” can be delivered politely and tactfully.
