Writing this on behalf of my mom, a regular mallwalker at Lakeside who often speaks of how friendly the young people who work at the Raising Cane's are when she orders her diet coke (even though she's only ordering a diet coke). FWIW, I do like the fried chicken as well. :)

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant but over the last six months or so they have become very very slow they act like they don’t care about their customers at all and some of the managers are rude. If I could leave them zero stars, I would that’s how horrible their services.
Food was super hot. Chicken tenders were fall apart tender. Sauce 10/10. Sweet tea 10/10. Fries 8/10 (I'd like to see cheese sauce).Employees were friendly.

Some of the worst tasting canes I've ever had definitely not up to canes standards. Chicken was old and dry fries were extremely undercooked and soggy.

Everything was good some of my chicken fingers were on the smaller side but I didn't say anything thank you. The mall staff was very helpful.
Like all the Raising Cane's I've been to, this one is fast and the chicken is consistently fresh and hot. So go to Canes if you want good, hot, fresh Chicken Fingers with Canes Sauce on the side with good quality fries and Texas Toast. Your standard soft drink selection with the best ice in town and quality service. But if you're looking for anything else or kind of variety, look elsewhere. Canes is \\\"One Love\\\", because they do just one thing and do it well.
