First Time Trying the place, The ambiance was nice, the server was on top of it and our food was prompt but spaced out accordingly. Ristorante Filippo is fantastic. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. We are in Metairie about every three months. We tried the restaurant in May and had an excellent dining experience. This visit, our server, Micah, was great. He was knowledgeable of the menu items and attentive to our every need. We ordered the eggplant medallions with marinara appetizer and puppy drum almondine with seasonal vegetables entree. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back...
The ambiance is charming and cozy. Megan our waitress was attentive and cheerful. The meatballs are huge and the marinara sauce is yummy with a slight spicy kick. The veal sorrentina is a delicious blend of veal, eggplant, prosciutto and mozzarella cheese. The bread was warm and a satisfying addition to the meal. I look forward to returning. Hard to believe this was my first time to enjoy this Italian delight.
