Good service but I have NEVER in my life waited an hour and fifteen minutes for raw fish. They were more worried about to-go orders than the actual patrons in the restaurant. Already decided we won’t be back for one good roll and one decent roll.Parking: Small lot prepare to park on side street

The food is phenomenal but the loud music spoils the experience. Come on, guys, it doesn’t have to be that LOUD. The waiter couldn’t even hear us order clearly.

Chef Trevor is the kindest! The sushi is Amazing! I recently visited The restaurant for dinner after a long day of school my grandkids. And work myself. We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. Chef Trevor was very attentive. Updating and very engaging! He made our visit a pleasure. Thank you Chef Trevor! I hope that you were able to Kater Annex sushi party!❤️❤️❤️

Best sushi in Metairie. Tried others but this is tops. Garlic salmon roll was the hit. Also, red dragon roll. Yellowtail roll was a top 5. Ramen was average. Service was steady and friendly. Be ready..."if it's too loud, you're too old" phrase applies here as trendy music plays all night.

I am sharing a very scary experience that happened to us this past Friday night. It is utterly appalling that Rock-n-Sake did NOTHING and allowed this to happen. I will no longer be a customer and support a business that has ZERO care for their customers: "I am beyond shocked to know how complacent humanity can be in a negative and dangerous situation. I used to be a loyal Rock n Sake customer up until Friday night. I went there with my boyfriend to pick up our food order, and on the way in I brushed paths with a guy walking down the stairs and his phone fell. I honestly never meant to do any harm nor did I intentionally plan for him to drop his phone. My boyfriend picked it up and handed it to him. We walked into the restaurant and I proceeded to the restroom, while my boyfriend picked up the food. When I walked out of the restroom, I realized that the person who I had accidentally bumped into parked his car at the front and came back into the restaurant and was ready beat me. This man verbally harassed and threatened me and almost physically attacked me (had it not been in public). The saddest and most disappointing part of this is that all of this happened in full sight of a restaurant operation, and not ONE single person did a thing to prevent this. No employee, management, nor person around me did a single thing while I was harassed at this establishment. I have no idea what went thought peoples mind at that point, but it was extremely alarming to see how desensitized everyone was while I was being harassed. I would never post something like this on social media, but opposite to the silence I faced in such a dangerous altercation, I will not stay quiet. I have a voice and businesses that have zero care for their customers baffle me. Their ethical standards have made me feel marginalized and segregated. Rock n Sakes silence regarding my situation on Friday night made me realize that I could've been bashed in front of them and no one called 911 or said anything. I am extremely disappointed and angry to see that business like this prevail in todays economy. I hope everyone knows they should always feel safe and welcome where they go to spend their time and money. Don't waste your money in places that have zero remorse for inequality or do not see you as the same!"

Great sushi great atmosphere, the lychee Martini comes with a cherry instead of a lychee so that's the only reason I'm giving a 4. Overall love this place ! The voodoo queen roll maybe the best roll I've ever had!

Getting popular has taken its toll. Rolls are smaller and it take a very very long time for the sushi to arrive. The drinks are expensive. I'm searching for a new place. Any suggestions?

Absolutely the BEST sushi in New Orleans. You gotta go the the Original on Fulton Street. The staff is awesome and they happen to be the most beautiful staff ever !!! The sushi is as beautiful as it is delicious. Try the Salmon Belly. It's always a party here.

The Peking was horrible . The parking lot was super small. The sushi was okay but the waitress had an awful attitude when I asked to speak to a manger about how she was speaking to my husband . Order to go …

So, I have dined here numerous times and like the food/restaurant. Last night I sat at the bar (just me). Bartender was super friendly and actually very accommodating when they didn't have the sake I wanted (I got a free glass of another one). HOWEVER, I ordered food and waited and waited. Kindly asked the bartender about the status, and he kept telling me it was "coming out". A manger finally came up to me and said again it'll be out. I said to her it's been about an hour. She rudely said "no it hasn't!". She then checked the computer and came back and said it has only been 38 minutes and that was normal! Plus told me they were understaffed in kitchen in a very rude manner. What ever happened to customer service and treating the customer right?!?

We were sitting outside and waited for like 15 minutes to be told that was not a table, the waiter was rude and not helpful

The food was delicious. Like REALLY good. Server was very friendly. Just a heads up, it took more than an hour between ordering and getting our sushi. Pre-covid, I would have complained, but it's a different world now. Food was worth the wait and there's a good selection of beers/sake. Probably not the best place to go on a busy Friday night if you're in a hurry. But the perfect place to go if you have some time and interesting ppl to take to.

I've given this place a try several times now before leaving a review, because I really wanted to like it. I live close by and love a good sushi roll. But, it's just not it. I've had the steak hibachi (tough as hell, basically tastes like Panda Express quality), tonkotsu ramen (just not very good), and several different sushi rolls.... I'm really not a very picky eater but I've literally thrown a whole roll away from here. Thought maybe it was just a bad night or not the best roll so I came back but I'm always disappointed. The rolls all fall apart and the cuts on top are huge thick slabs of fish that overpower the rest of the roll and give it a weird texture. Even the hibachi rice misses the mark by a long shot- very bland. Hate to say it, but I don't think I'll be giving this place any more chances.

This was my first time at this location and I was not disappointed. I went with 2 friends. When I arrived at 6:30 I was told an hour wait - something I was prepared for. Our table was ready within 45 minutes. They have a QR code for a digital menu, but will give you a physical menu if you ask for it (and that's what I prefer to look at). We got a few different appetizers and the edamame were pretty standard, but I really liked the sushi deviled eggs and the kale and sashimi salad. That kale was amazing. I got the LSU roll and the Fulton Street Roll. Both were great. The service was great and I like the atmosphere better here than the downtown location. I'll definitely be back.
