RUMBA Island Inspired Cuisine & Rum Bar

I've heard about Rumba and wanted to come try it. I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious. I came for lunch which was great since they have tacos. Just ordered one taco since ordered lot of meat. But I would want to try them all. Great atmosphere and decor. Really clean, friendly staff. I'd definitely go back to try more of their menu items.

wish I could remember the waiter name — I even asked twice! She was awesome. She gave me some great food and drink options and even offered the table rum pickle shot, which I honestly thought would be terrible. But it turned out to be surprisingly good and really smooth. I wasn’t allowed to pay, but I still had to sneak her a little tip for the great service.

The food was excellent, but I also want to highlight the service. I was eating with my family. My dad is 85 and his mind isn't what it used to be, so he's slow at ordering and asks a lot of questions. The waiter was very kind and patient with him.

We came eat here and omg the food wasn’t good. We checked the menu and we didn’t even know this isn’t Caribbean cuisine style. So we ate but we don’t recommend coming to a place where the food doesn’t have soul.

Very slow service. The red fish was bland and full of dark meat which tastes bad. Whenever you filet a fish you should cut the dark meat out so the fillet tastes good. Seems like they need a lesson in cooking fish fillets. Really disappointed.

Fiancée and I have wanted to try this place for a while now and finally had the time to try it out. Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere! The paradise poke was unlike most other we’ve had and was interesting with complex flavor. The Dominican ribs were the best ribs I’ve ever had. Fiancée is a shrimp taco connoisseur and said these were her absolute favorite. The drinks were amazing and went down like water. Steven was our server and was friendly, attentive and personable. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time here and we will not be going back. Our server Caitlyn was great but the food overall was horrible and overpriced. Chicken sandwich was bland and had weird after taste, the tuna burger was really fishy like maybe it was old not fresh and the ribs were dried out old looking too but were replaced with some better ones when we mentioned how bad they were. On a good note they did have good cocktails.

The lady that answers the phone is intolerant stand to be outsmarted and she is extremely condescending. She was lying to me. She denied to make me a reservation although I am calling to hours ahead. Airhead with a big ego.

Took over 45 minutes to get our food. It wasn't even that busy. A little on the price side for the atmospere

I can't say enough good things about this place. The energy is always poppin. The staff is always friendly. The food...omg THE FOOD!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤 I have yet to have a bad meal here, and we eat our food so fast I forgot to take a pic of it. The ONLY **SMALL** complaint is everything is pretty spicy. So just be prepared for that. Otherwise.... only good things to be found here. It's ALWAYS busy, too, so be prepared there might be a wait if you come at peak meal times. The cocktails are off the chain, as well. So if you're looking for great drinks be sure to come in an Uber!!
