⭐ Extremely Disappointed

I ordered a beef biryani today, and it was a very disappointing experience. The beef was of poor quality, and the rice didn’t taste fresh, it seemed like it had simply been reheated.

My wife and I are true biryani lovers and have enjoyed dishes from many Indian and Pakistani restaurants, but unfortunately, this was the worst biryani we’ve ever had. The food even made us feel uncomfortable afterward.

Quality and freshness are the essence of a good biryani, and this restaurant failed on both fronts. I would not recommend it to anyone until major improvements are made.

Ordered from Shyan’s kitchen sometime ago and I’m leaving this review now reflecting on my experience so I can give people a fair warning to STAY AWAY! I ordered chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Although everything tasted fine, and I enjoyed the flavor. About halfway through the meal, I started to feel extremely ill Until I started vomiting and throwing up. It wasn’t until the next morning when I woke up, but I realized that I had food poisoning and that the chicken was most likely undercooked. DO NOT DINE HERE. Although I do not have pictures of my meal since it was from sometime ago, I wanted to leave this review and hope that someone might see it and choose to go somewhere else for dinner.

Came here for quick lunch takeout. Staff was super friendly on the phone and even nicer in person! Got the butter chicken and garlic naan; both were delicious! Looking forward to coming back.

Very bad Indian food. I have ordered kadhai chicken and mutton kadhayi, both were very bad in taste. Instead of naan he provided the bread garlic naan was without garlic.

Excellent variety of Pakistani and Indian dishes. Very helpful and informative server. Everything we tried was great. Recommend the goat. Also try a nice tea. Many choices of naans. We tried three, all were excellent with the hummus suggested by our server. Will return and try more dishes.

Wow! Not only was the service amazing but the food too. Dana was our server and he was very quick, friendly, and gave us really amazing recommendations! This was my first time trying goat, and it was very tender and flavorful! The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back.

This is the only place I will order Indian food from. The chicken tikka is the best in the entire nola area. The biryani is so flavorful. The naan is amazing. Everything shows up still piping hot. Literally everything I’ve had from here slaps!

We had a very bad experience with the food. Ordered biryani and chicken kadai — the rice was soggy and had no biryani flavor, and the kadai chicken tasted nothing like it should. Very disappointed. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Please don't ever go.

The service was really really friendly and nice but the food was not that great.

First of all the mango lassie was moderate. The Nan was really hard and thin, almost Brown and was not soft at all. As you can see from the picture it was really thin and hard. We ordered goat karahi, the meat was less and there was a lot of bones. The curry tested bland , not many flavors.

Overall 5/10 and the service 9/10 , atmosphere 7/10 according to me, your testbud and preferences may vary. But I think they need to improve their food.

Started off with a warm friendly greeting from the “owner,” Irfan Khan. The Saag Paneer was deliciously buttery. Chicken Tikka Massala’s sauce was thinner and less flavorful than what I have experienced at other local restaurants. Aloo Gobi met expectations. Ambiance is bare bones, but it’s clean. I’ll come back.
