I love good food. It's sad how many restaurants in New Orleans get it wrong. Station 6 got it right. We had a wonderful meal. Everything we ordered from start to finish was excellent. Seasoning and ingredients in the dishes were fresh and inventive. Good portions and good presentation. Our waiter was very attentive and we had really good service. A manager came by asking if everything was ok. Could not have had a better experience. This is what we eat. First a dozen oysters. Beautiful, salty, and the shucker did a nice job. Then the chop salad. Perfect balance vinaigrette and great ingredients. Could have had that as a meal. Then my husband had a special of crayfish stuffed flounder with tossed spinach. Perfection! I had the Pompano with brown butter sauce, toasted cashews, and roasted asparagus. I added some fried oysters to mine and it was great. For dessert we had the fruit cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Believe me when I tell you nothing was ordinary. All extraordinary! Bravo!

A must if you’re visiting Nola or just a local looking for a new place to try out! Great atmosphere and very delicious food!! Below are items we tried out: crawfish spinach dip, sizzling garlic shrimp, triple tail entree, and even the wildkat fish & chips were good that the kids enjoyed it!

My parents raved about this place and took us out for a quick meal. Very much enjoyed the experience! We all ordered their special which was fish and grits with bbq shrimp, and we all enjoyed it. The service was great, and our server was very friendly and attentive. They were accommodating even though we finished after they were closed. One small thing to keep in mind, they won’t seat you until the entire party has arrived. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Loved the casual atmosphere accompanied by amazing food! Definitely recommend! I had the special which was a blackened trout, my spouse had some oysters and said they were amazing!!

The food and service was beyond amazing! The staff, from the hosts to the servers make for such a great experience because of their upbeat and welcoming personalities. I came in specifically for the Crab on Crab special and when I say it gave me everything I expected and more! The whole dish with the veggies and potatoes were all seasoned to perfection. Dawn, the FABULOUS General Manager checked in to make sure everything was alright and suggested the Blueberry Margarita and i was beyond impressed!! I look forward to returning

Always a delicious meal. We've been going here for years. The menu changes every so often, but it's always incredibly delicious. We the crawfish spinach dip, drum, softshell crab special, and seasonal cobbler. Hot damn the drum and softshell crab were mind blowing.

Had 9 of us meeting for dinner at 5pm on a Saturday. 8 of us walked up, it was slow and they had a table available for us all. Manager / Hostess curtly states she wouldn’t seat us, as “all of us weren’t there.” 8 out of 9 were present. I understand 2 people wanting a 6 top table. But 8 out of 9? And why did she need to be curt and rude right from the start? We were a table of adults, looking for drink and food, so we took our $500 worth of business next door. Won’t go back. To many restaurants in this town to be treated so poorly right when walking up. They are always packed, so they obviously don’t need our business.

The oysters were delicious. My date got a shrimp salad that was way better than I thought it was going to be. We sat outside and the weather was perfect, additionally there’s covered seating with fans to keep the temperature down. I got the salmon tacos. I was actually very impressed with the portions, it was basically two whole salmon fillets in each taco. I couldn’t even finish it. Wait staff was prompt and friendly but not in your face or rushing. Overall would certainly recommend for food and experience.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Station 6. It has a relaxed, non-pretentious atmosphere where you can dress up or down. The food tasted as good as it looked, with service to match. There were seats available inside and on the patio when we arrived around 5:15, but there appeared to be a short wait by the time we left (maybe 6 or 6:15). If you're debating whether to order dessert, just do it.
