Sushi was fishy tasting. Crab Rangoon left a lot to be desired. Coke was over priced for the size

Not good. Ordered on Uber eats. They shortchanged us on wasabi and ginger-- big time-- and it did not seem fresh. Definitely other better sushi places.

Would I go again? No. It was not terrible but maybe it just didn't fit my taste. The service was good though and so were the prices. The sushi we ordered was mediocre sushi. The noodles I ordered were okay. It's not something I want again. Too gingery for me personally but someone else might like that. What I did like was the soup (miso and clear soup) it was good and some of the best I've ever had. The clear soup I would mention didn't taste like clear soup but I liked the taste personally. The fried potstickers were good as well and I'd recommend that. I did find that they had a lot of interesting roll names and combinations. Maybe it's too much and that's why the sushi is subpar. I did like that it was decently quiet.

Been going here for a number of years. Unassuming decor belies the good sushi selections. Happy hour with 2:1 special rolls is a great value.

Best/easiest place to get sushi quickly. Very happy I found this spot. Oh and it's delicious!

Good sushi, great prices if you stick to deals or when they offer a Groupon. Service sometimes a little slow but nothing terrible.

Finally stopped in this restaurant stuck back in a small strip mall and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I dropped to get a mix of sushi rolls to take home. This was our first time at this place. They were so fresh and just the right size. Some sushi places make them so big...LOL. The people that were there were very helpful with our order. The place is very comfortable and looked clean. We come again soon. Definitely sharing this place with friends.

For quick easy sushi to curb your craving, this is the spot. I ordered for lunch from Uber Eats, and holy moly they are good. Running man roll, hibachi veggies, chicken udon soup, and shu mai. Okay so maybe this will be for dinner too... anyways just so impressed by presentation, temperature, food quality, packaging and even the additions of sauces even without me requesting it. I've gone inside to eat a few times too... and they've never disappointed. I'm not rating this 5 stars as a gourmet sushi spot, but just 5 stars for doing their job well -- quick, good Japanese food and served properly. Anyways, can't say enough good things and this will have to become a regular Uber Eats choice for me. Also my friend said they have some Groupons here and there too,so I just purchased one and it truly is such a good deal! Running man roll -- delicious, aesthetically uniform roll and the crunch was impeccable Chicken udon - warm soup with plenty of hibachi chicken pieces, broccoli was not over cooked, I'm just so happy. Broth is tasty too! Shu Mai - so these aren't the dim sum type of shu Mai that's the yellow wrappers with the orange on top, these are mini steamed shu Mai's that a lot of Asian food places seem to serve around here... they tasted good though! just not classic shu Mai Hibachi veggies -- nicely seasoned, still hot. came with zucchini, mushrooms and broccoli. Perfect texture So yes, 5 stars because there was no reason for me to take away any stars. Keep it up Sushi Village!

Solid and quick service. Priced well, but the portions are small. Great lunch menu as well as all you can eat lunch and dinner for a fair price

My friend and I did the All You Can Eat lunch special at Sushi Village and it was really great! The AYCE menu has appetizers (such as different kinds of tempuras, miso soup, salads), a variety of different roles, and several desserts all for just $17.95 without tax included. Additionally, you can do AYCE any time of the week including weekends! We tried a variety of the different rolls including their shrimp tempura, dragon roll, kuchi special, and pink lady. In addition to that, we had the miso soup, house salad, and edamame as our appetizers. For dessert, we chose to eat green tea ice cream and the fried banana which was a unique item on this AYCE menu. For this great price, the sushi was pretty fresh and we had a pretty large variety of different things that we could try on the menu. The service was also great and they kept checking if we would like more. One tip to keep in mind is that the rolls come in two sets of four. We chose a large number of rolls in the beginning and we didn't realize how much food it would be for our first round. Nevertheless, we managed to finish everything!

The place is a great hole in the wall. Everything is amazing from the drink to the food. The server was nice and informative.

My least favorite sushi in Metairie. If you're looking for quality fresh food, I do not recommend this restaurant. However, if you are looking for cheap eats, you will get them here.

Been here a couple of times because they are conveniently located in Metairie, close to the mall. I tried the rolls and they weren't really my thing so I tried the udon last time, and it was pretty bland and the portion was small for the price. I think the happy hour is a pretty good deal, though, if you don't mind the quality of the fish as much.

Even less than one star .. food poisoning me and my wife. What a horrible night we are facing cuz of that place. What I realized that 90% of their customers come through Groupon which shows how trashy they're. Don't go there.
