My absolute most favorite dessert place in nola. The mochi beignets are AMAZING but only for those who like a bit of chew - i love rice cakes so it was perfect for me but my sister could only stand to eat a little. Also got the spicy garlic gochujang popcorn chicken and it was so good. A little on the pricier side but well worth it.

Good product. Crazy wait to pay.We came in for ice cream. It took us 5 minutes to get our scoops. I waited in line another 30 minutes to pay. My family finished their scoops before I paid.Note to the owner bc you were running the register. Take a step back and figure out how to stream line to stream line the customer in the door, order, order fulfillment, and payment. It means a better customer experience and faster through put for you.The cashier shouldn't be fetching product. Have someone handle the cookies, donuts, etc. The cashier needs to keep pushing the line through.Set up a counter for order pick up. It's crazy confusing when you're walking around screaming the name of a item. Use order numbers!I won't be back for a while. Not because your product isn't good. It's mid to pretty good. I won't be back because it takes forever.

New location and products make for an even tastier experience.I am a little disappointed in the variety of macaroon ice creams they have in their new location versus the unlimited variety that were available before the relocation. But I am happy they are back and still have flavors I love.Their classic and nutella and strawberry waffles are super tasty and give you so many textures that it's like a party in your mouth.The bubble waffles are also a favorite for my kids' as this is a treat they ask for often when near the location.I highly recommend Sweet Handkraft as it stole my heart and is continuing to satisfy my growing taste buds years later.

It's been some time since I visited and this was the first visit since the re-open. The staff was very friendly and helpful and despite it being busy, they were able to get me my items quickly. The drinks were delicious and the mochi waffle is now a favorite!

We got the Pandan Bubble Waffle with Pandan Ice Cream ($9.00), the Bulgogi Korean Egg Toast ($10.00), and the Ube Latte with Real Ube Jam ($6.50). Everything was really good! The service was nice as well. The inside was a bit clustered, but the decorum was still neat. I did wish that the toast would be bigger like the ones you would get in Houston especially for $10.00. Sweet Handkraft is definitely on the pricier side, but I’d still come back once in a while since everything was still tasty.

? I’ve been dying for Sweet Handkraft to reopen!!! So excited to finally leave a review. I love love love this place!The store is now located across the street from LaMadelines & Dragons. In terms of parking I feel like it’s a bit harder to find parking since they are located next to two salons…. And harder to spot unless you’re looking for it.In terms of items I love that they are being unique and original with stuff they serve! I love their new ice cream flavor Sakura matcha ? (I legit used to have to buy the powder for this flavor). Let’s not forget how innovation they’ve become with their ice cream foam options. As someone who works at a coffee shop I was sincerely impressed with the idea of using durian, pandan, and ube as a combination for coffee! Let’s not forget the iconic egg coffee. Sweet Handkraft made me feel like I was in California again with the Southeast Asian flavors!? sad they no longer serve mochidonuts but rumor has it the mochi beignets are better. Haven’t had the cookies again but def got some macarons and they were giving so much life.? my only not so happy comment is the dining space. I feel like there’s so many cute photo ops but the set up of the space doesn’t allow for people to both dine and take pics. Space looks bigger but feels tighter. Also kinda sad there’s only one familiar face that still works here other than the owner.
