Group of 5 of us dined at Tana this past weekend and all I can say is - what a pleasant surprise! Based on walking in, totally thought that it would be more of a gimmick vs a legit restaurant - but food, drinks and service was legit.
Favorite appetizers were the octopus and burrata toast - have been craving them already! Table side pasta was such comfort food!
Only disappointment was that the tomahawk was a bit too chewy for some in our group, but the marrow/tomato sauce is a MUST for it. Great sommelier and service overall. Will be back, and not just for the lit up menus. 🤪

My husband and father in law birthday was tonight and we made reservations for 6:30pm. We were seated my mother in law ordered a dirty martini, our appetizers, and our food at the same time. Appetizers came out and she is still waiting for her martini. We then received our food at 7:45pm. Service was just horrible in my opinion. You would think if you have 2 birthdays they would have brought out a little dessert for them. Nope first time here and it will definitely be our last.

Brian and his team made our experience so special. We were not rushed and all of the food came out in a perfect rhythm!! Delicious doesn't describe the flavors. Compliments to THE CHEF!!!!!! The atmosphere was private yet, not isolated. We could feel a part of the dining scene, and continue our conversations with ease!!!! We will return!!
Everything was exceptional!!! From the hosts up front to the great service and delicious food to the wonderful ambience. This is a must for visitors to New Orleans who enjoy a great dining experience. The meatball appetizer is a must. All the dishes we had were great. The servers make wonderful recommendations. It is a bit of a drive for tourists in the French Quarter, but well worth it.
Good food, quiet lunch atmosphere. The deserts, Gelato and Sorbet, were incredible. Would recommend to others.
Beautiful restaurant. the food and service is excellent. we have been about 5 times now, and better each time. The table side pasta is back, a great experience. Excellent veal dishes. and very good desserts.
My family and I went to celebrate for our daughter's graduation. We were seated immediately and was served fresh bread. The olive oil was delicious we had to ask for seconds. For appetizers, we ordered blue crab gnocchi and oyster bordelaise. They were both delicious. My favorite by far was the Caesar salad. It was amazing and my kids also loved it. Both my husband and I ordered the NY Strip which was okay. I would have preferred without the sauce. The sides we ordered were charred zucchini and baked polenta which we both enjoyed. Our daughter ordered cacio e Pepe which was good. For dessert I ordered the pistachio gelato which was amazing! Love the decor, and vibes. The Restaurant overall was very clean and beautiful. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes. The hostess at the front was very sweet and friendly. One of the ladies actually took a picture of the bar for me since there was a holiday party and I didn't want to disturb the guests.
Sat in the bar area for 20 minutes. Only one other table being served. No one approached me or asked if I even wanted a water. Was totally ignited by the five bartenders behind the bar. Unacceptable! Terrible service- will not be going back!

I am unsure where to start because everything was exceptional at this establishment. From the moment you walk in, being greeted with smiles, to being directed to your table, everything was amazing. We happened to be here during the brunch, and ordered the Egg and Bacon pizza, fired up in an authentic style. Then having some of the savory fried oysters. For the main we shared the tiramasu waffle and Fried Chicken and the eggs and steak. All very exquisite! I recommend checking this place out if you are a tourist or wanting an elevated dining experience. Oh, and Christopher was wonderful!

Stopped in for a holiday lunch with friends & Tana exceeded our expectations! Food & service were excellent. And don't miss out on the basil gelato! 5 stars.
OK damn — I was craving pasta, so I swung by Tana, and wow 🔥 I've been before, but they revamped the menu and tightened everything up, and it shows. The food 🔥, the service 🔥, and the whole vibe was just electric. If I wasn't hooked before, I'm fully obsessed now.
Tana was a home run. The service was excellent, as was the food. The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas.
I celebrated my birthday here last night. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was so kind. When we were seated our server asked about food allergies. My friend told her nuts, specifically pecan. I told her shellfish but that cross contamination is fine. At the completion of the dinner they brought out a birthday dessert and sat it in front of my friend with spoons. It was an ice cream with a candle in it. We each took a bite and she immediately spit it out because it was sweet potato PECAN icecream. This was confirmed by the server after. We left immediately so that my friend could find treatment. While the experience before that was okay, it’s extremely concerning that her allergy was overlooked to this degree.

I visited this establishment on Sunday December 7 and had an unacceptable experience. The waitress who served me made comments that were culturally insensitive and inappropriate. She insinuated that African Americans do not normally visit establishments like this and suggested that I would not know how to order because of that.
These remarks were offensive and discriminatory. This is a clear need for immediate cultural humility and competence training. In an age where everything is shared on social media, comments like hers can easily damage the restaurant’s image and discourage customers from returning.
Out of respect for her advanced age and clear ignorance, I will not list her name, but I strongly urge management to address this behavior and ensure that no other guests have a similar experience.
Thank you.
