We had a wonderful Sunday lunch there with family. From the appetizers to the entrees and then dessert EVERTHING we had was hot, fresh and delicious. We had some newcomers with us and they were totally impressed, as they are both chefs!! We are from Houma and will return again soon. The service is ALWAYS personable!! We love it and totally recommend it. Thank you for a great Sunday afternoon.

If you’re reading this, do it. It’s so good, honestly some of the best thai food I’ve had.

Ordered through uber eats. Extremely dry beef - lack of proteins - 2 shrimp in the 20 dollar combo…
Cheap tasting ingredients - really disappointed :(

I’ve been coming here for years with friends, family and even by myself! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and treats everyone who walks through the doors so kindly! The food is always delicious! I always go for a noodle dish but there’s so much to try on the menu! If you stop in, try the papaya Thai E-san salad or the crispy pork belly off the chef special menu!

The food here is traditional Thai food. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back! I’m really fussy when it comes to Thai food and this ticked all the boxes thank you. My vegetable green curry was divine!

I'd ordered food from here years ago but this was my first time eating inside. The food is excellent with phenomenal friendly servers who are very accommodating of dietary preferences. In addition, the food comes out fast with nice presentation. Highly recommend this place!

Really good food but I find they are very inconsistent when it comes to spice levels. I often order drunken noodles with medium spice and sometimes it is not spicy at all (think they forget to add it sometimes). So I started ordering it spicy and sometimes it’s good and other times it is absolute inedible. Need to be more consistent with what each spice level is so I know how to order

Wonderful staff, owner introduced herself to us—fellow vegetarian. Food was fresh, and was to the table quickly. Classic green papaya salad, veggie spring rolls, vegetarian pad Thai and massaman curry. Can’t say enough good things about Thai Zaap!
Hidden in a parking lot on Vets is some of the most delicious Americanized Thai food in the GNO! Don't let the front fool you, behind this unassuming exterior is the surprise of deep Metairie Thai food. For example, try the pineapple fried rice combo. I discovered this restaurant because I had some leftovers, and came out here just to eat the real deal and was very happy I did! The coconut soup is delicious, as is the chef's special Golden fried soft-shell crabs. The mussels appetizer is a little underwhelming, but the calamari app is tasty, and the egg rolls are yummy. I am looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu.
