We decided to try the deep dish pizza here while running some errands in the area. We got a 7in veggie (it takes 45 minutes and you can pre-order) so we asked the waitress if we could go run another errand and come back. No problem! We returned about 20 minutes later to our table as we left it. The pizza was yummy and SO FILLING. Do not underestimate the size! We also ordered the gumbo, it was thick and delicious, and the sweet potato fries, crispy and not floppy like most establishment....

My husband, 3 year old, and I visited That’s Amore for the first time. We’ve been searching for a true Chicago deep dish locally for a few years. This place was absolutely delicious and the staff were so wonderful. Our waitress was an absolute angel. Truly felt like a family owned pizzeria. Well will absolutely be back!

Twice on Sunday I have had the opportunity to go to That’s Amore Pizza, thanks to my friend and boss Gary. The Chicago Style is my favorite. We order the “meat lovers” specialty. The pizza is tasty as in, you can taste the smoke on the ham, the pepper/greasy flavor of the pepperoni, etc. and the sauce is sweet and hearty. The first time the staff did seem a bit sluggish, however today was great and from the hostess to the back of the house seemed to operate effectively,...
