Fun atmosphere but food/beverage not what other reviews claimed. Coconut shrimp was not good, rice and broccoli were very bland. Appetizers were good. My margarita was watered down and not flavorful. Waitress was not attentive. We won’t be back.

We had the bang band shrimp which was very good. The fried seafood platter left a wondering if the chef knew how to cook. The fish was way over done and hard. Not sure what it was. The calamari was over done. The crabcake was almost all cake filling. Could not even taste crab meat. The shrimp was good and the fries ok.
The waitress was fabulous and made the visit very pleasant. Tessa deserves a raise for sure.
Get a new chef and I think you will do well.

Love the food, the generous portions and the sweet couple who own the restaurant! They keep their prices very reasonable too. Personally, I would say they are better than Parkway in mid-city!

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. We were able to sit right down, but I’ve heard the place can get busy during normal hours. She’s on a ketogenic diet and there were plenty of options for her. She finally settled on the garlic seasoned shrimp with green beans. It was delicious! I got the shrimp and fish platter with onion rings. Food was hot and fresh and portions were very generous!

Great place for someone with celiac, gluten intolerance or allergy. The GF onion rings were amazing! The service was slow, but there was only one person waiting on the entire restaurant and every table was full.

The food is always undeniably good. I’ve been several times. Ate in and also took food to go. I understand it gets busy and it’s only one person taking all the orders but make people feel welcomed when they come in, a simple greeting would do. I also brought a friend along with me for the first time and she definitely wasn’t pleased with the service. A “hi or welcome in.” goes a long way.

Went in to order a salad and was told by the owner she is not taking food orders because all (4) tables filled around the same time. Clearly she was overwhelmed but to be rude, not cool. If you cannot handle 4 tables hire some help!

The Catch is a fabulous restaurant! Great Poboys, the fried shrimp are the best! Ive had several fish dishes …all fresh and cooked perfectly. The gumbo is one of my favorites and seasoned to your taste of spicey. Lovely couple own the spot. A seafood gem in Metairie!
