The Larder Breakfast was exquisite. Portions were out of this world and world class gourmet food was on point! The Mocha latte was on par as well I highly recommend this fine establishment and the wait staff was superb. A++++++

I had some time before my day began so I thought I would give The Larder a try. I walked in and while I was expecting something more breakfast focused there was still plenty to choose from. I went with my standby of Lox and Bagel. Don’t let the beet cured name of the salmon intimidate you I didn’t really notice any sort of taste difference. But I’ll say the addition of lemon I’m always a fan of. The bagel itself is the most critical part, and it was New York style so very doughy and not tough. Personally I would have preferred the simple “boring” lox and bagel with red onions, tomatoes and capers but the arugula was fine. I just felt it was lacking a tomato. Got a coffee cause duh! And the coffee was good slight undertones of diner coffee but make it a little nicer. Service was so friendly and everyone was happy to be there. It’s a very very very clean spot and if I were to be in town again I would like to see what lunch is like. Based off the menu I’m sure it’s bumping!!

Very nice aesthetic to this eatery, good presentation.

Incredibly weak drip coffee. I knew when i saw the pour it would likely be weak as it was very light/see through, but decided to taste first: nope. Exchanged for an espresso, which they graciously accommodated, but the server looked puzzled at the request. The espresso was meh.

I ordered the avocado toast with goat cheese and pickled onion. Cheese was great, there could have been more onion. There was a ton of avocado but it was obviously not fresh. It’s was not seasoned, which odd fine but it tasted highly of citric acid. Also it was dark, a sure sign that the oxidized avocado was mixed up with fresh or whatever was underneath. This left it slightly bitter as well. I feel like i was served “at least” yesterdays avocado.

Just visiting the area and my first time at this establishment.

The staff is very nice.

24$ for coffee, oj and avo toast.

The atmosphere was everything—amiable staff. The chicken biscuit was good. The biscuit was very flaky and delicious. The coffee would most definitely keep you up. However, the chicken was a bit dry and pricey for a pasty place. The coffee would most definitely keep you up.

During a much needed vacation in New Orleans, I found this place. It was boutique, quiet away from the crowds of the French Quarter, and locally suggested. I am so happy for the suggestion! The food was delicious. The services was top notch, and the atmosphere was prestigious! I really enjoyed the short time I was there right before I flew home.If there is any questioning, this is THE FIRST place I will be coming to when I return!

Good place! The food is good, just pricey! Had lunch here, I had the special (fried green tomatoes and shrimp) and my boyfriend had a Cuban. Both were great! We spent $50, no extras just the food and we sat outside, no table service.

Ok... Soo... Hear me out. My wife has a mild capsason allergy and it can be hard for her to get some food and not be a little uncomfortable, due to most everything having a little. Not sure if it was the owner or a manager but this lady help her while they chatted about different menu items. It was such a warm inviting experience that I guarantee we will be back and bringing friends... I suggest whoever reading this do the same! Oh yea, tomatoes soup ??
