BUT, man was this an amazing venue to attend
3 band event closed out by "Like Murder", and was it rocking
We had such an amazing night! This venue was perfect for acoustics and the outdoor patio was so awesome too

Great place to check out live metal bands, bar tenders were friendly and the food was also good. Will definitely return when I able to get a night out again.

It's not even my experience anymore. I wrote a review on Facebook and was met with harassment and threats to my wellbeing from the owner and a bunch of his friends for two days. Nevermind the place itself, the owner is petty, childish, and honestly shouldn't be running a business dealing with the public if he's going to treat people like that over an opinion.

Went to go see a band I had seen previously and hear some mew music as well as take pictures. The bartenders were very nice when I asked permission to take photos. The bands were great and the crowd was very friendly. The drinks seem a little over priced and when asked about the lighting I was told they didn't know how to work them, so it stayed dark and blue the whole time and performers were hard to see. I would have hoped that if they have a tech to make sure the show goes right they should know how to work the whole stage.

Parking: Extremely limited parking, which is good considering it isn't the biggest place

We've been here a couple of times. It seems like a good setup for live music and has a nice outdoor patio for the smokers. Also a good internet-based juke box so you can fire up almost any songs you like. I was not particularly a fan of the live music that happened to be playing the night we went, but I would go again for another band that I thought I would like.

Typical metal head, Metairie bar butvakso has food. If you know and enjoy Twist of Lime, then you'll enjoy the Marsh Room.
