The food was great.i had a server try to aglrgue with me because I watch her put my waffle on a plate without using gloves and it had very clearly touched her hand. She kept trying to tell me it didnt and i was wrong. Then she had an attitude the rest of the time bc I asked for it to be remade.
As Waffle House restaurants go, this one is hit and miss. I've had good food here before, but the past two times, the service has been pretty poor. Today, they got my wife's order wrong and my hash browns and bacon were both overcooked. It's the first time in my life that I've left hash browns on my plate at a WH. If we were not in a hurry, I would have had them remake it. Next time, I'll go to the one just a bit down Jefferson Hwy.
The lady name Lala served old stale bacon in my husband’s grit bowl and kinda had a small issue when we brought it to her attention that the bacon wasn’t even hot in the beginning when she brought the food out to the table !
