I finally visited Wishing Town’s new location in Metairie — and it’s absolutely amazing! The decor is full of thoughtful, beautiful details. I really loved the atmosphere! The food is still as delicious as ever. My favorites are the cucumber salad, garlic shrimp with glass noodles , and the pork floss dumpling.

The whipped cream + fresh fruit + velvety smooth sponge cake is a MUST try for birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion! Super light yet rich at the same time. The egg tarts are incredibly soft, not too sweet yet rich- like your own mini souffe! Mini coconut tarts are also on point. Love this bakery and cafe ✨🎂✨

Couple of friends of mine recommended this restaurant so I gave it a try and it was so so. I might have ordered the wrong things that aren’t that good? We ate 10 differently dishes and I’m not nuts about it…
