“Just wanted a Frosty. They are always good. It was not quite as tasty as I remembered. I had seen a few days earlier that they were $1. When I got to stop, they were not on sale. I just used the drive-thru and didn't go in. The lady at the window was super nice.”

“I ordered the shrimp platter, was pleasantly surprised that they offered it fried or grilled. I went with the grilled. The cole slaw was ok, but nothing special, the fries were very good and the shrimp was fantastic!. Good size, cooked perfectly, nicely seasoned and grilled with onions and a little greem pepper. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be sure to stop by again!”

“Great food. When you are in the mood for shrimp and burgers. One of the most perfect temp fried shrimp in Louisiana. High quality, golden brown, flash fried crispy and not too greasy breading. The burgers are awesome. Always enjoy visiting with the owner. The only downside maybe, is the dining area is simple, not always... kept-up. Looks like the Private dining room doors belong as exterior doors, and the exterior doors belong with the private dining area, ;>) !!! Support local business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Minden location ❤️ HUGE shout out to one of our favorite local restaurants in Minden! I placed an order for pickup this evening with the impression that Sean would be back in time with our vehicle to pick it up before closing. As luck would have it, he got held up and wasn't going to be able to make it back in time. So I called the restaurant, in a panic 🥴, 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could pay someone to bring it to our shop which is about 1 mile away. Without hesitation, they said one of their workers would! A few minutes later, Michael (one of their waiters) showed up with a HUGE smile on his face and delivered our food! I seriously CANNOT express how grateful I am for the kindness of this business and their waiter who took the time to make sure I received our food after a long busy day for everyone. Folks, THIS is one of the BEST examples of what customer service and amazing hospitality is. Instead of choosing to say "tough luck, hate it for ya", they chose to go above and beyond by saying, "don't stress, we've got you!" We need more businesses like this. We need to support LOCAL more than we do. These businesses depend on us keeping it local. I can promise you that El Jimadore will continue to have our lifelong business and I will make sure to always ask for Michael when he's available. Please support our local businesses in Minden and definitely go see Michael at El Jimadore! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“My local DQ I’m just gonna go ahead and throw it out there probably the best hamburger on a consistent basis in town. I don’t give me wrong. There’s places that make a mean burger they are locally owned not a chain. DQ even though it is locally owned is a chain so you gotta count out the mom and pop eateries. Minden DQ has THE BEST service. Those people are always ON POINT when it comes to catering to their customers. I wish the location was closer to me BUT I also wouldn’t want them to move just bc there is a consistently to where it’s at. I could leave for years and come back and the DQ will still be there. Great food. Great service. I wish the restaurant would upgrade but that takes $$$. Keep up the good job.”

“I went to Sonic this day to get a Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. This is my favorite shake in the world. This particular day was a little slow in them getting it out to me, but I can look past that because I LOVE them so much!”
