Stopped at Valero to get fuel and decided to get a bit to eat, best decision of the day!Chicken and sausage Gumbo with jalapeño cornbread.The boudin was ok at best.The Fire burger was just that, Fire!

This place is conveniently located in a gas station at Exit 47/I-20. They serve a lot of different cuisine, but they have several types of hamburgers. The burger is good, but just not what it used to be. The meat is a home made patty, but it was just a little bland. They come with seasoned fries. It's not bad, but average. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. It's definitely a step up from fast food burgers.

Some friends brought me here when I first moved to Minden a year and a half ago. They ordered the Freaky J and suggested I do the same. It is THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IN MINDEN! It is a grilled or fried chicken breast with bacon, lettuce, tomato and a special sauce on a jalapeno cheese bun. Skip the chicken chains and come here for the best chicken sandwich. You won't be disappointed. They also have Cajun food that is popular. You can get the Cajun items fairly quickly but everything else is fresh made to order.It's located in a very nice convenience store so it's a one stop Valero gas, lunch, & potty stop.I've tried several different menu items and everything has always been top notch. I'll definitely keep coming back.
We LOVE the Fluer Deli! It's located in a Valero station, so don't let that confuse you. The phone number also rings the Valero. The people that work here are so so nice and helpful! The gumbo is our favorite. Call ahead for your order and tell them your traveling through, and they can cool the gumbo down so it travels better. We love to stop and grab a half gallon of gumbo, some rice, and bread to take home. My husband knows he better come home with Fluer Deli, when he is working in Minden! The bathrooms are also super clean!

This is a REAL CREOLE cafe. In a gas station. In Louisiana. As always. XOXO If you like some Louisiana real creole style red beans and rice you can get it here. Not that "Broussard's" crap. This is authentic. Best Creole red beans & rice. And their homemade yellow corn muffins are lightly sweet, moist inside, crunchy outside. The BOMB! :)... LOVE! They also serve pecan praline community coffee! GET IT! :)' Laissez Les "Bon Temps" Rouler! Highly recommend.

Not a Deli (unless Google maps steered me wrong) the location and phone number listed are for a Valeros gas station. Most of the reviews are over a year old and a great Deli may have existed here at some point but its now a self service station.Also, poor phone etiquette.

Very slow service, man behind the counter is rude and rushes you to order. If you take even a second too long he huffs like he is just absolutely bothered. And heaven forbid you just stand quietly to wait for your food. I wonder what happened to the ladies that worked here over a year ago. :(
