“I traveled to the area last year and stopped by this deli, we enjoyed their gumbo! This year I was traveling back through the area again and just had to stop off here again for their Gumbo and PoBoy Sandwich! If you are in the area don't miss out!”

“I ordered the shrimp platter, was pleasantly surprised that they offered it fried or grilled. I went with the grilled. The cole slaw was ok, but nothing special, the fries were very good and the shrimp was fantastic!. Good size, cooked perfectly, nicely seasoned and grilled with onions and a little greem pepper. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be sure to stop by again!”

every small town in America needs that one restaurant.. well ladies and gents.. that will be Netas Bbq. All day every day. I'm 53 and I remember eating there as a child. And it hasn't changed. Still delicious, always nostalgic. That smoke flavor, the potato salad, the beans, and Omg that Root Beer! Thank you, Netas for being there.”

“Minden location ❤️ HUGE shout out to one of our favorite local restaurants in Minden! I placed an order for pickup this evening with the impression that Sean would be back in time with our vehicle to pick it up before closing. As luck would have it, he got held up and wasn't going to be able to make it back in time. So I called the restaurant, in a panic 🥴, 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could pay someone to bring it to our shop which is about 1 mile away. Without hesitation, they said one of their workers would! A few minutes later, Michael (one of their waiters) showed up with a HUGE smile on his face and delivered our food! I seriously CANNOT express how grateful I am for the kindness of this business and their waiter who took the time to make sure I received our food after a long busy day for everyone. Folks, THIS is one of the BEST examples of what customer service and amazing hospitality is. Instead of choosing to say "tough luck, hate it for ya", they chose to go above and beyond by saying, "don't stress, we've got you!" We need more businesses like this. We need to support LOCAL more than we do. These businesses depend on us keeping it local. I can promise you that El Jimadore will continue to have our lifelong business and I will make sure to always ask for Michael when he's available. “The lady at the drive through window was very nice and courteous. The (2) Cobb salads i got were very fresh and crafted with care...and the chicken nuggets were fresh and hot!!!”

“For the first time to eat after having surgery on my throat to remove one of my tonsil and had my gums fixed. I'm so glad they were having beef tips and gravy. That was so good. I ate off of the plate for 2 days. Thank you so much Lady's for the wonderful food.”

“I went to Sonic this day to get a Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. This is my favorite shake in the world. This particular day was a little slow in them getting it out to me, but I can look past that because I LOVE them so much!”

“Dairy Queen in minden is not only an eating establishment, but a step back in time. Some people would say this particular location is aging, but I say, if it is, then let it be aging like the fine wine it is. This location is clean, cool, and well kept. The manager on duty was super nice, they had a guy out cleaning tables quite often and you don’t get the whiff of fry oil when you first walk in unlike some of the newer locations I have ate at.

Food: pictured I have the 4 pc tender with gravy. Always a classic choice at DQ! Nice crispy outside, juicy tender inside. My only complaint is I think it could be seasoned just a touch more.

The fries were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of salt.

The toast was well buttered (and not to much either) and fresh!

The chili dog: I was skeptical about trying one since I’ve never had one here. Believe me when I tell you, sonic needs to take notes. Absolute BANGER!

Classic cheeseburger:

I can say the only letdown this time was the burger, a little dry and the buns a touch over toasted. The patty had a decent taste and the pickles were fresh. Well assembled, too.

Overall, killer taste and a classic experience. Will continue to come back to this location when I’m in town.
