“Wow! We were travelling Dec. 26th and hopeful to eat at a local chicken place in Minden. However, they along with most other places were close. We were nearly resolved to the fact we would be eating McD's when we saw the sign, "Hamburger Happiness". So glad we did. It was really nice to experience a small town fixture. I had a burger prepared to order and a fountain drink. They fix the 1st drink behind the counter then tell you to help yourself to the refills. The young lady said, "We're not picky about people going back there." Thanks for making us "Hamburger Happy" during the holidays.“
“I'll start out by saying I grew up in Northern Louisiana and am now accredited chef in las vegas . I own my own franchise and have been featured on Food Paradice , Travel Channel and Diner Drive-in's and Dives. That being said myself and 2 friends stopped by Friendz in Minden Louisiana. The service was on point . I myself had a bacon cheeseburger and fries prize that was amazing . Both of my friends ordered the pork chop sandwiches and let me tell you tell you they were Huge. Not just huge but tasted Like a down home pork chop sandwich should taste and let me mention... the bones were left in the pork chop and anyone who is in the culinary field knows that's the best tasting meat is near the bone. “We had heard from a social media account I follow and the Hgtv show about Geaux Fresh. Minden was a good location for a family meetup for my mother's birthday so we gave it a try for lunch. Since we were expecting a large group I did contact them a day ahead to let them know. They were gracious to accommodate us with tables pushed together. The menu has a great variety, all very fresh! Everyone's food was delivered exactly as they ordered it and it was all very tasty! The staff was so kind and friendly. They even provided a complimentary dessert and birthday song for my mother! We'll definitely be back!“

“In town for a week and decided to try this place next door to my hotel due to the Yelp reviews. Kitchen is inside the Valero which I was hesitant to try but didn't want to drive anywhere. I ordered the Great American Burger on the Jalapeño Cheese Bread. I have to say that this burger was really tasty. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a pic. Will definitely go back. Edit - Went back again the very nect day and added fries. Super good.“
“We went in off hours and would have been better with fresh meat. Not dried up like it was. Weird lettuce and not enough. For lack of quality they make up for in French fries. Way to many!!! I couldn't eat them all. Next time I'm asking for freshly cooked meatParking: I had the first spot“
“Best lunch in town! Only open for a 4 hour window Monday-Friday, but it’s probably for the best because I would probably go broke otherwise. I recommend trying the Black Bayou sandwich/burger. Their blackberry jalapeño jam that goes on it is amazing.“
