I traveled to the area last year and stopped by this deli, we enjoyed their gumbo! This year I was traveling back through the area again and just had to stop off here again for their Gumbo and PoBoy Sandwich! If you are in the area don't miss out!
Stopped at Valero to get fuel and decided to get a bit to eat, best decision of the day!Chicken and sausage Gumbo with jalapeño cornbread.The boudin was ok at best.The Fire burger was just that, Fire!
This place is conveniently located in a gas station at Exit 47/I-20. They serve a lot of different cuisine, but they have several types of hamburgers. The burger is good, but just not what it used to be. The meat is a home made patty, but it was just a little bland. They come with seasoned fries. It's not bad, but average. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. It's definitely a step up from fast food burgers.
