Mac Bliss (Inside Geaux Fresh Bistro & Bakery)

I went in on my lunch break made an order for a wrap and salad togo, 6 people that ordered behind me got their food before me. I had to ask about my order 3 times 25min later I got my food. When I went to eat my food they gave me a bag of chips instead of my salad I ordered. It was too late for me to go back and get what I ordered. But I will not be eating here anymore!!

I'd give it 20 stars if possible!!!! Jodie and her girls provide personal, excellent service, exquisite food and desserts, and it's the BEST LUNCH SPOT IN MINDEN.

The Mac Bliss is a hit! It was so cheesy and had surprisingly a big portion. I didn't even finish it! It tasted great and had all fresh ingredients. I will definitely come back!

Love the Geaux Fresh girls and of course ALL the food and sweets!! I so appreciate the Christian atmosphere!! Wonderful sweet peeps!!

The food is good and fresh! It might be a little expensive for lunch but it doesn’t seem to stop people! The chicken salad sandwich is great!

The food was delicious!! The lemon pie was amazing!!! We have cookies for later but I have no doubt they will be great too! Megan was really sweet and personable. We will be back the next time we are traveling through this area.

I came in from Florida to visit my mother and we came here due to the HGTV show and the good reviews. I wish I had saved the money. My mother and I both ordered the "special" the chicken and dumplings. We also asked for cornbread but got a piece of toast. Sorry but they were terrible. I only ate 4 bites and that was just chicken because the dumplings were so hard I could not even cut them with a knife. And it cost thirty dollars!!! for two plastic bowls of bad food. We did speak to the owner and she offered to "fix us a sandwich" I declined because I was scared to eat anything else, So she offered my mother a piece of pie. My mom accepted and asked for strawberry or coconut pie. The owner said sorry but they had not been cut into yet so she gave her a piece of chocolate pie. It was so bad!!! It tasted like cheap store bought crust and instant chocolate pudding with whip cream. I would try them again but was so offended that she did not offer to refund our money I will pass on trying them again.

We were a group of two adults and two kids eating here at noon and the food was delicious. The owner and the people working there were very professional and friendly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a very large menu. We will eat here again when we are in Minden.

The three of us stopped for a late lunch on a Wednesday and were pleased with the large number of fresh choices on the menu. We were the only customers in the bright and clean dining room. Service was prompt and friendly; our food was delivered to our table but a few minutes after we ordered at the counter. Each ordered item was approximately $10; our bill before tip was $54. The menu on their website matched the one on the order counter. The soup of the day was potato, and it was terrific; big bowl, creamy, and full of flavor. We thought the food prices were in keeping with the food quality. Note that they charge $.50 for each serving of tap water; something we have not encountered elsewhere.
