I am a long haul truck driver that pulls oversized loads and have been parked outside this restaurants across the street for 3 days. The restaurant was obviously a good choice when you drive up and see the parking lot full and the overflow lot across the road being used by locals nightly.

I went in for lunch and dinner 4 times in 3 days, even though I had other options in walking distance, including a Texas BBQ restaurant.

The food quality, attention to customer service and the price point is all bang on.
I will in the future anticipate my return here and enthusiastically recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a Mexican restaurant, even someone that cannot handle a lot of spice. They have options for someone with a low tolerance to spice here.

Thank you to the staff and management.

Had to stop at and stay at a hotel due to Heavy Rain on the way back to texas. We were looking for a close place to eat supper. This place had good reviews. From the moment we walked in all of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. My husband had an enchilada dinner which he said was delicious, and I had a combo dinner. The chile relleno was different than any I had ever had before, and the best I've ever had

Great warm chips, nice, roomy seating. Wait staff was hit/miss. She was great, disappeared a while, back kinda thing.
Food was great, bit pricy but what isnt nowadays.

We stopped by 5.7.2025 @ 2pm on our way to Texas. Waitress was kind, quick and very lovely. Food was fantastic

2 Star because this was the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. The waitress was nice. The relleno had the texture of rubber and the cheese enchilada had cheese that wasn't melted. It's almost as if they were trying to get a bad review. They did take the meal off my check.

Amigos is located north of the airport (Monroe Regional) in a sketchy neighborhood, but it's worth the effort to go there. Get the fajitas and the cheese dip for your chips. The salsa is terrific. Just the right amount of spice. The staff were very attentive and personable. I highly recommend Amigos.

Our Sunday School group will go to Amigos occasionally with between five and twelve people. Something usually goes amiss with an order or the bill. It can take a while to get it straightened out.
