Very basic soulfood ! Nothing spectacular. Customer service was not good. Tried to ask a food ? And the server, ( server in the middle) had a real attitude problem. She began to talk negatively about me right in my face like i wasnt standing there. I was about to just walk out but the sweet woman working the register was able to smooth it over & resurrect the sale. No need to return. I will say it was very busy, so it must be fabulous for Monroe LA.
My husband, grandbaby and myself are running from Hurricane Milton and have been on the road since 4am yesterday. We decided to stop here for lunch because I was craving a home cooked meal and I was not disappointed. The food is outstanding, packed full of flavor and the best things I’ve eaten in a good while. So, because that fact has been established, let me add a few other details. First, the servings are more than ample.
