Epic FAIL! I ordered a small cake for an elopement ceremony from Butter. Weeks before the ceremony I showed the baker the inspo picture (plain white cake with cursive writing) and they said yes we can do that. Unfortunately- when I picked the cake up it was nothing like the inspiration picture. The manager refused to refund the cake or have somebody re-ice and fix the cake. Simply said, there is nothing we can do and sent me away in utter disappointment. So much for supporting this local business, never again.

They offer two vegan options in their dessert section which the brownie is wonderful - chocolate chip cookie isn’t good. I would hope that the chef would explore other options for the brunch menu - DF, GF, and vegan options. I tried the chicken and waffles without the gravy bc I was told it had dairy and it really was not good without the gravy. Waffle was very hard to eat.

I've always wanted to try Butter, but decided to stop in today at lunch. There was a wonderful assortment of items, ranging from mini cheesecakes to rosemary focaccia, all of which were beautifully decorated and baked. The service was very quick and they were kind, so needless to say I'll definitely be coming back!
