We enjoyed our delicious meal at our favorite restaurant in Monroe--Catfish Cabin. We have been coming to this restaurant for many, many years. Our server was Tonya. She has a bubbly personality. She was super attentative. All of the servers were polite and friendly. Usually we would see the owner, but he was evidentally busy. We have never had a problem with our order, for Tonya would make sure that our order would be to our satisfaction.

Awful. Took 40 minutes to get our food. Freezing cold on the inside i was sitting there and a waitress walked by with vape in hand. The food was awful as well. My mom had gotten the catfish combo and the fish tasted like mud the okra was awful cold slaw tasted like throw up! My dad had gotten the catfish combo and said it was very bad and tasted old. My burger was bland and made my stomach hurt. They were playing some old school music which is better than nothing I guess. I've been reading the bad reviews and they were all right. I should've read them before I came. Never coming back neither should yall. We spend 50 dollars for three people and didn't even get a lot.
I went with a large group. There were two wait staff. They did the best they could but it took forever. There were close to thirty people in our group. I've eaten there by myself or with two other people and it's not so chaotic.

Originally from down south about 45 min south of NOLA, I've been eatin' seafood all my life, and lemme tell ya, this place knows what they're doin'. With so many great menu options I couldn't decide. So Tonya recommended the stuffed crab. It was the best I'd had in a while. I left feeling as stuffed as that crab! I was so impressed i called back later that evening to talk to Tonya about possibly hosting a luncheon. She was so helpful, offering all sorts of options. She was very informative and told me while they do host parties and reservations, they also do bulk order requests and off-site catering. Tonya is definitely a keeper, a definite asset to Catfish Cabin. I will definitely request her the next time we are there.
We ordered 2 pounds of catfish. The pieces were small and cut oddly, so it was overcooked. BUT, whomever does read this post, get at least a dozen hushpuppies. The best hush puppies you will ever eat!

I ordered a salad, just a regular chicken salad ??♀️ what I got was a taco salad ? so I continued to eat it then there was hair in my food I've tried calling no answer. I've been throwing up since Saturday I'm never going back

Horrible I was hosting lunch and ordered at 10:15 got there at 11:30 and order wasn’t ready until 12:20. Low staff and no one there knows what’s going on! Don’t waste your money
