Pleasantly surprised by this spot. Only regret was not giving it a try sooner. The fish and chicken were both fresh and tasted great. Tartar sauce wasn't my favorite but worth trying out. Chick sauce was delicious, almost like a garlic sauce maybe. I'm usually not a fan of coleslaw either, but I ended up really liking this one! Toast was buttered really well too.
Highly suggest giving it a try and don't let the buildings appearence fool you!

The young lady who brought our food out was very courteous. Our food wasn't hot and I asked to wait for fresh food. The food was returned less than five minutes and the order appeared to be warmed. I asked for a refund, never touched the food and was told by MOD Brock that I couldn't return not select a replacement. He said that he gave me the benefit of the doubt by sending out the second time and admitted that it wasn't fresh the first time. I will not patronize this place again. My daughter actually said Raising Canes that's directly across from them and I told her that I loved eating here bc it was always fresh. TAKE CARE OG YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!

Love going here. They have better tasting chicken that the other chicken place by far. Fish is awesome too. Sure wish they would put one in West Monroe close to Bridge St and Cypress St. Be perfect. God Bless all who enjoy their food.

They have online menu with prices but you get there and order and they charge almost double what online menu shows Example: 12 piece catfish nuggets online shows 4.95, when you order they double the price to 8 something. If I look up your place online to check for what you offer and prices, I expect you to honor what you advertise.

Has always been good until today. They switched up the fish to cheap nasty yellow belly channel cat that tastes like your eating canal mud. For the price this fish cost there is no reason they should be selling trash catfish. 12 piece family meal and no one could eat it. All 5 of us tasted the same nasty mud water flavor. 8/1/25. Never again. I’ll go back to catfish Charlie’s.
This is the worse place to get fish from. I ask for fresh hot fish and they refry old fish and sell it to people. When you refry fish that makes the fish hard. On top of that the fries are cold and nasty. My meal was 14.04 and it wasn't worth it

10000/10 GOOD GOOD GREAT!!! Never going to Canes again after stopping by this place, food was fresh, cheaper than canes, and on top of that tenders, and fish filet were seasoned to perfection, not to mention the fries as well were top, food came out fast and honestly 9.5/10 wish I just had another cup of sauce with all the food I ordered but damn this place is a must try!

Went there a few days ago by time I got home looked at my food the order was messed up asked for no slaw and it had slaw and it ended up spilling all over the food. Called was told they would replace my order great! Tea was terrible that night. So I go back for my replacement meal a couple days later. Food still not great! Tea still terrible. Don't think I will be back.

Fish was cooked in burnt grease! Chicken strips was okay. The coke float was a clump of ice cream with coke poured on top, never mixed! I could’ve spent my $40 elsewhere and will next time!
