We had a party of 20. We can be alot with our individual likes and needs, but our waitress, Tasha, did an AMAZING job. There weren't many people there when we got there due to the work the city is doing. Now we did make a reservation for 6 when I saw they were able to say people again, but about the time half of us got our food more people started coming in. Due to a large group that came in at 4:30, space was getting tight. No worries - they made room, found a table, and people were able to sit at the bar. Due to the work the city had been doing, they weren't heavily staffed. HOWEVER, Tasha handled it absolutely wonderfully. Will I go back? HECK YEA!!! EDITED TO ADD: Kitchen did a GREAT job, too!!!

My life loves this restaurant. I don’t believe we ever hear anything bad about the place.

We started with a bowl of gumbo and fried pickles. The gumbo was one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Very authentic Cajun gumbo. I had a 16-oz ribeye and a half dozen charbroiled oysters. Steak was a little overcooked but was tender and had a good taste. The oysters were excellent, although a little on the small side. My wife had the fried catfish plate and an extra side of onion rings. She loved it all. The onion rings really are not rings but battered and fried onions. They were delicious. The service was excellent!

When we first walked in, I was a little unsure based on the appearance of the place—but wow, was I proven wrong. This spot taught me the important lesson: never judge a book by its cover.

The food was absolutely amazing—everything was perfectly seasoned and didn’t even need a shake of salt. We ordered the gator bites, ribeye steak, and fried catfish. The gator bites were flavorful and crispy, and the shrimp was juicy and delicious. The ribeye was a generous cut—definitely large—but a bit on the fatty side. Still, it was cooked just right and packed with flavor. The fried catfish was a standout—hot, crispy, and flaky.

Everything came out fresh and piping hot. If you’re looking for a meal that delivers on taste, this place hits the mark. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a down-home, well-seasoned Southern-style meal.

Wonderful meal! The crab cakes, shrimp, eggplant and fried pickles were over the top! Even learned how to eat a fried soft shell crab! It was simple..you eat the entire thing. Oh yea. The étouffée was a hit as well! Service was good! Will be making a return trip for sure.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The pistolettes and stuffed crabs were some of the best we have had. We will be back for sure!!

They were not prepared for service on a Saturday night. we were a table of four. first we find out that the liquor permit was allowed to lapse so no beer service for tonight. Our orders ca,e out late. The burger and fries cam out first but was almost cold. After ten minutes my wife received her chicken and sausage gumbo. the gumbo had a good flavor but contained one slice of sausage and a few strands of chicken. after another ten minutes the oyster plate and catfish plate arrived. The oyster plate contained three regular sized oyster with thremainder be small remnants of oysters. The catfish plate was just OK. Very disappointed with the meal overall..

Jameson was the best server we ever had! However, the steak tasted weird, almost like lighter fluid. When we told the waiter, he said the manager “offered to cook it longer”. We literally paid for steak that wasn’t fit to eat and now have to go elsewhere to feed our son something else to eat. Also hearing the manager yelling at the kitchen staff is very unprofessional. This was our first and last time to eat there!
