The wings and pappas fries were delicious! Looking forward to going back to try the full menu. Only appetizers were available at the time that I went with my brother.

Really enjoyed everything we got. Our group had duck wraps (very good), Chargrilled oysters (okay), red beans, rice, and sausage (very good, seems to have tomato in the base?), fried pork chops (good), spinach Madeline (very good), fried cheese grit (good), and hushpuppies (good). The Old Forester Old Fashioned with maple syrup was delicious. Service was good, great atmosphere, nice date night or small group spot. We will definitely be back.

Have gone here two separate times in the past year with both horrible experiences. First time I didn’t get served for up to 30 minutes on the back patio cuz waitress forgot about us. Second time it took over an hour and fifteen minutes for a burger and catfish - while people who arrived after us were finishing their meals. 0/10 and I won’t be going back

Went with friends. Everyone loved everything. Best food I've had in a VERY long time.
Our server Jay was so knowledgeable she kept recommending bangers!

Started with the pomegranate margarita that was great.
The duck wrap was so good I ordered it twice!
The oysters rockerfeller was some of the best oyster I've had the spinach on it was soft, tender, flavourful.
The Cajun pasta with blackened shrimp that Jay recommended was 😋😋 the salad that accompanied it was also great I ate the whole thing.
The spinach side was on point.
The chocolate cake was 10/10 but the bread pudding was 16.5/10 I had to share it with everyone.
I ate one bread pudding and bought one to take home.
I ate way too much and I don't regret it. The chef was on point tonight 🔥🔥

There wasn't a dish that was bad! We tried; the duck wraps, phenomenal! Order seconds, crab cakes, amazing. red fish supreme, chef kiss. Oysters(rockefeller), speechless. Will certainly eat here again! Our server Jilly was amazing as well!

11-17-26 Update: Updating my review to 1 star based on the owner’s response. Customers don’t owe you a review every time they walk through the door. What you owe customers is consistency. Given the tone of your reply, it’s a lot clearer why this place has shut down and reopened multiple times—and it’ll likely happen again if leadership keeps operating with that mindset.

It’s the owner’s responsibility to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed, that large parties are staggered instead of stacked on top of one another, and that the kitchen and restroom flow is handled internally. A customer has no way of knowing who’s staff when people are coming out of the bathroom in aprons.

Our waitress was covering three large parties at once. We all arrived at different times and somehow ended up leaving together because service was so backed up. When we asked for simple things, she bounced to other tables and forgot half of what we requested. That’s not on her—that’s on management for setting her up to fail. And no, we weren’t interested in sending food back just to wait another extended period.

With the price point of your dinner menu, quality should be exceptional, not inconsistent. You might consider taking notes from restaurants like The WareHouse No. 1 on Walnut Street—30+ years in business because they prioritize consistent service and reliable food, every single visit.

This could be a great establishment, but not with the current approach.

11-15-25 I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have recommended this spot to plenty of people, but my visit on 11/15 was a complete miss. The drinks were elite as always, and the bathrooms were clean—but that’s where the wins stopped.

Service moved at a crawl. The entire operation felt out of sync: kitchen staff wandering around with no clear workflow, even entering and leaving the restroom with aprons still on—which is a major sanitation red flag. Floor staff looked stretched thin with zero support.

The food quality was the biggest disappointment. My steak was mostly fat caps, nowhere near the standard you’d expect at this price point. The turnip greens were drowning in vinegar, and overall the meal lacked flavor and finesse. When you’re spending over $200, you expect a premium experience, not an afterthought.

This visit completely shifted my perception. I won’t be returning or recommending this place until leadership gets the quality, staffing, and operational efficiency back on track. There’s too much potential here for the customer experience to be this inconsistent. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and course-corrects for future guests.

Nice atmosphere. I walked in expecting a great experience but it was the complete opposite. Maybe the restaurant was overbooked with parties or maybe the service was just that bad. I ordered the redfish which was very small & very dry for $36. I never received my salad dressing that I asked for and it took 30minutes to receive my check. I give the waitress grace though because she shouldn’t have had to wait on 3 parties with 10+ people each.

Terrible service on Mondays. Poor kitchen staff, servers are on the ball. Owner needs to take charge.

Paid $35 for pasta I barely ate so decided to take the left overs home. Not complaining on the food everything was good. We paid and left, I realized my mother forgot to grab my to go box, we were close by I had just turned left on the stop sign at the end of the road. turned back around to go see if it was still on the table. It wasn’t. They threw my $35 barely eaten pasta away.. they could have waited to see if I would come back for it. Manager said there was nothing they could do. Maybe next time wait a little before throwing away a full box of food.. I wouldn’t be so upset if it was half eaten, but it wasn’t.
